  1. As a Rosenborg supporter, I would be cautious rather than excited. During his time at Rosenborg, the team gradually declined. We finished 4th in his first season, dropped to 7th the following year, and he was eventually sacked with the team at the bottom of the table so far this season. The trend was consistently negative. At Rosenborg, every season was worse than the previous one. That’s ultimately why he was sacked. Maybe he will succeed in a smaller and more stable environment, but he gave us very little evidence that he can turn around a struggling club or compete consistently at the top. To be fair, Rosenborg had problems long before he arrived, and he was not responsible for all of them. He improved some aspects of the club’s professionalism and player development. My view is that Johansson may eventually become a good coach in the right environment, but based on what he showed at Rosenborg, I would not consider him a proven winner. I would describe him as an interesting project rather than a safe appointment.
