  1. if true £2100 a week for Roberts is a wasted wage and so much for us paying the second lowest wages in the league. Always thought that was nonsence. Would have thought Chris Cadden would be on higher with Hibs. I also suspect Liam Kelly's figure includes our loan part of his wage, the balance being paid by his owning club at the time.
  2. Well if our fans assume people who leave are doing so because they don't like GA we must surely apply the assumption that those who re-sign must like him ... that is how ridiculous this entire narrative is. Tait ---- wasnt getting 1st team football with us and tried to play a fast one on the club when Covid struck so they rightly let him piss off. Dunne ----- was asked to go to the summer training camp with the offer of a one year extension . St Mirren gave him a two year deal so he took that and considering his injuries with us hardly surprising we didnt take a longer punt on him and having watched him for St Mirren we didnt lose much. O'Hara ----- By all accounts one of the highest wage earners , on the field was too inconsistent and spent as much time side lined than he did playing, the club / manager might just consider his higher wage could bring a better return in the summer. Watt ---- I do think there may have been issues between him and GA but who knows. Because of the shocking efforts on the park this season every scenario is amplified to crisis level. If GA resigned tomorrow Id be delighted. The only other time I was as disillusioned with the on field efforts was under Harri Kampman. However for our fans to suggest GA has lost the dressing room has actually no basis of fact. Win the next two games (which we wont a point at best) most of this will die down. Lose our next two which is more possible than winning the two GA is in real bother as we certainly could end up in the play off dogfight.
  3. Mugabi and SOD must like him. Maybe just maybe we are happy to let OHara and Lammie go. Lammie I have reservations about because I think hes better than Johansen and OJala.
  4. We could all of course be reading far too much into O'Hara's departure. Had we been comfortably sitting fourth and playing well I don't suspect there would have been much reaction to him leaving. However we are honking and in freefall and with the possibility of ending up in a play off scrap everything gets amplified. That said who is to say there isnt something rotten at the core. If there is you'd expect Burrows and the board to act on it. https://twitter.com/Alan_Burrows/status/1505966961196417024?s=20&t=ZlMzX9DDj64Qfg1_ZO4CXw
  5. Dunnes pish despite his cult hero status among some Motherwell fans. His defensive display against Hearts was shocking. His distribution is still honking. Long ball to no one - christ he might get a game for us after all - Main is a complete Donkey. Tait was a good player and but he was struggling to get a game for us. However you just know they will haunt us in our next game.
  6. its kinda hard to judge our midfield we bypass them in every game
  7. oh there is , there is if we finish in the top 6 there are Motherwell fans who don't care if we play mind numbing shite..
  8. The tactics are basic and awful. Fair enough if you have players who can capitalise on the long ball game, we don't. We just surrender possession time and again and when you do that you lose goals.
  9. oh I agree with the right formations and tactics dross can perform better , thank christ we never appointed one of those anti football managers when Robinson left
  10. I think both him an OJala are pretty grim. Id punt both of them the first chance we get to move them on. I also dont subscribe to the notion we had a better squad than our results infer. We have dross all over that Squad - Roberts, Carrol, McGinley, Shields to name a few.
  11. Utterly dreadful, I cant be arsed saying any more . This has been an utterly hideous season.
  12. Not true the Lime Kiln served us pints without any food on Saturday, wished we stayed in the boozer.
