  3. First time i've ever felt knackered just watching a game on tv!! Shocking defending at times but respect to the players for the comeback.
  4. Agreed +1. SPL/SFA will always bottle it in favour of the Old SCUM.
  5. I'd have gladly taken a point before the game but fuckin INCOMPETENT officials cost the 'wee' teams yet again. When oh when will these INCOMPETENT officials be brought to book??
  6. TV replay showed he was fuckin MILES onside when Craigan headed it back across the goal. Linesman's a fuckin h*n!!
  7. A great first half and an unsaveable free kick!!! I'm still shittin it for the second half though. A second goal will settle my nerves!
  8. Watching it from a very cold Lincoln. Not overly confident but Mon the Dossers!
  9. I'm up for this game and the Hearts game away on the 30th. Haven't been to Tynecastle in over 20 years!!! Jack Daniels is the best place for a pre match beer. Hope to see you in there Trafficlight.
  10. Is that Uncle Phil on the extreme left of the front row??
  11. Having watched it on BBC Alba i think we could have defended the first goal better by having a man on the post. Looked like we could have sneaked the 3 points at the end when Reynolds went close. Says a lot when their keeper got the Man of the Match. Cracking goal from Murphy!
  12. My son was mascot on 28th November 1999 in front of the Sky Sports cameras. Motherwell 3 Celtic 2 Had his picture taken with Shaun Teale and Alan Stubbs (Celtic captain) I was mascot on 17th Sept 1977 Motherwell 5 Ayr Utd 0 Had my picture taken with Willie Watson who lived round the corner from me in Hamilton at the time.
  13. Some great memories on here. Can't remember my first actual game as the memory cells are getting old but one of my earliest memories was going to see us play away at Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup in about 75/76 season. I was about 8yrs old and can remember being amazed at the size of our support. We seemed to take over the whole ground. It had something like a speedway or greyhound track round the pitch and i can remember watching the game sitting on the wall at the front with my legs hanging over the wall. We won and had Hibs in the next round and took a couple of replays to beat them.
  14. I went on the Bridgeworks bus to that game. Remember Junior Burns scoring the winner. As we drove away from the ground there was a large group of h**s fans round the back of their main stand calling for their manager to be sacked!

Nice to see the BBC getting the venue right! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...ups/8266333.stm Hope nobody has wasted journey to Edinburgh.
  16. How time fades the memory. I knew the h**s manager was not very popular after that game. I do recall the large contingent of Well fans not wearing colours. I remember a game there a season or 2 later where it came a bit on top and a certain lad from Ayr had his ear 'rearranged'!
  17. 22nd October 1983 h**s 1 Motherwell 2 Junior Burns scored a late winner (after Andy Ritchie had equalised with a pen) in front of a sparse crowd at Ibrox. Rangers were going through a really bad spell then and all the glory hunting bastards had crawled back under their stones. Was on Bridgeworks bus that day and seem to remember a big protest by the h**s after the game outside their main stand. I think Jock Wallace was their manager at the time and that result led to his sacking. Always nice to beat the h**s!

    Penalty

Too right. About time the diddy teams got dodgy penalties instead of the Auld Scum!!

    Todays Game

http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/index.php?op...&Itemid=132 Poor reporting on the OS!!
  20. Disappointed with that point. Played really well and fully deserved the 3 points.
  21. John Ruddy is looking very assured in goal. Commanding his area really well.
