  1. I stayed in the pub til about 10 past 3 before walking up to the ground so by pure chance I've missed this debacle. Absolutely typical of our club though.

It's exactly what laptops were made for.
  3. The big man takes the Player of the Month award for September. I have absolutely no doubt there are Motherwell fans raging at this news.

I'll be buying it tomorrow as usual. The Sunday morning hangover shite just wouldn't be the same without OSB on the bog.
  5. We do, but we've also needed a left sided midfielder/winger for years. Assuming he is left sided of course.
  6. I miss the days when MJC was just a pessimistic yet interesting poster, rather than the attention seeking parody of himself he's become.

My main entry is still the nod to the Fir Park DJ's mash-ups effort. However, if multiple entries are permitted, I'd also like to add:

If Jim Gannon had remained our manager, we'd be missing the majority of our first team on murder charges following the discovery of his corpse in Strathy Park.

Probably, but it should happen. Last night was the most spineless performance I can remember from a Motherwell team and those of us who paid the money (and took the abuse in and around the ground) deserve some form of recognition from our club, our manager and the players.

    Null vote. Garbage.

The hate and sheer venom directed to Motherwell fans both in and around the ground was pretty horrible but at least you had faith in the lads in claret and amber to do you proud. Aye right. Spineless, inept, gutless - I could go on forever. I don't mind losing, but to lose in that manner was disgraceful. There were no professional footballers in Motherwell colours tonight. I've been in Ibrox when we've been losing before but tonight was sickening. Hope the club made a few quid off a decent away support tonight because we got absolutely fuck all in return.

You've changed your tune. Anyway, I'm just about to head into town for some pre-match beers. Safe journey in and out of Ibrox for those going to the game tonight. To those still dithering over going, get yer fuckin' arses to the game. Sevco FC 1 (McCulloch) Motherwell 3 (Higdon x2, Ojamaa)

As much as I find McCall's comments before OF games boring & repetitive, he hasn't said anything of the kind ahead of tonight.

    Edited that for you.
  15. then lager in the Kensington before the game it's a " mixed boxer about 10 min walk from grey skull
  16. Either boozing out towards the Exhibition Centre end of Argyle Street and walking to Ibrox for kick off or boozing in the city centre/West End and getting the subway. Plan just now is the former but if it's chucking it down we'll likely just take the subway as usual.
  17. They've been telling everyone 'around 500' since Thursday. Either we've sold about a dozen briefs since then or they just have no idea of a running total. Also, worth pointing out that the h**s seem to be expecting a home support of about 25,000. If anyone's planning on avoiding the game due to being scared of there being a cauldron of hate and bitterness, it looks like there'll be plenty of empty seats to take the edge off so you might as well go.
  18. Sorry. I've just put so much effort into my zombie Jacko costume that I've gotten over-excited.
  19. At some point during the first half, the entire Motherwell support are going to stand up and break into this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_7rWflwW7E

Possibly. But then that just makes the statement terrible. In no way is it a statement that would stand the remotest chance of preventing any trouble pre or post match. If that was the intention, then it's a laughable attempt. The only reference to fans at the actual game is the idea that our club is 'pleased' Motherwell fans will be welcome at Ibrox on Wednesday. That alone is an absolute riot of a statement.

    Rangers V Motherwell

It depends on your interpretation of it. The statement not only tries to move on from the summer (ie. 'let's put our wee falling out behind us') but it also completely discards the fact Motherwell fans are treated like shite every visit to Ibrox by stewards, police and Rangers fans (and will be so again on Wednesday) by noting a favourable reaction to Green's comments. It suggests that our Board not only acknowledge but believe the idea that our fans will be welcome on Wednesday night. It might not be arse-kissing entirely, but it could be read in such a way that it's at least a slight peck on a cheek. At best, it's just a load of meaningless nonsense.

I've read it a couple of times because I assume I must be missing something.
