  1. I, for one, am shocked that a journalist would have a source.
  2. I wonder if he'll still look as miserable as he did playing for us.
  3. If he wants to throw his toys out the pram and stop putting in the effort then it's him who will suffer. Nobody is going to want to sign a winger who's done fuck all for 6 months in January.
  4. I literally favourited a tweet mentioning him. WHAT A BELTER.
  5. We had lovely possession and some great 1-touch football. But we're absolutely toothless up front. The sooner we can get Louis Moult back fit the better.
  6. The difference in this case is that he's got 2 years left on his deal. Previously we'd let deals run out then get smoked when we offered a contract for pennies compared to lower leagues in England. I'm happy we're playing hardball. I'd rather see him stay and help us finish up the league than leave for pittance.
  7. Chalmers is slower than glacial erosion. I can't see him hanging about. When we opt to play our most dangerous attacking player over him at left back then the writing is surely on the wall.
  8. I wasn't happy with his appointment. But when you see the shite Mixu has put United in, and see that Lee Clark hasn't done anything to turn Killie around I'm actually ok with it now.
  9. Johnson. He was the difference tonight. Cadden was poor in the first half, but I thought his second half was as good a performance as he's had so far.
  10. Credit to Louis Laing playing like Cafu on Saturday. There's a player in there somewhere.
  11. While we're on the subject, his name's not fucking 'Gomez'. His name is not the same as he of Adams Family fame. It's GomIS. This has been doing my tits in since we signed him.
  12. That's my thinking. It'll be his agent touting him to get a bigger fee/salary/cut for himself.
  13. I would 100% take him back. I think it's a shame we were in the shit and never got to see the best of him. Very, very talented guy though.
  14. Twardzik had great distribution and average/below average everything else. And he's only 6 foot tall if he's got his best Cuban heels on.
  15. Even you know that's a pile of pish. I reckon you could count his truly terrible performances on one hand. Other than a seldom few, he's been consistently good year after year. If we had a few others of his ability in the team we would be a much better side.
  16. Mind when Adam Coakley was bigged up to be the next big thing? He was pish.
  17. There's a few memorable ones. The CIS cup semi against Hearts was a bit special. The celebrations when Fizzy scored the winner were incredible. The Hibs 6-6 game was a mental evening. One of those occasions where an equaliser feels like a winner. Also the way the equaliser was scored was a bit special. The 3-0 Kilmarnock game away from home. I believe it was just after we went in to administration. Faddy absolutely ran the show that day.
  18. Brown shovelled him it wide left quite often. Gannon was playing 4-5-1 with Sutton as a channel running striker before siging Jutkiewitz and latterly going mental and heading out the door.
  19. The criticism of Sutty is quite sad really. Gannon had him tasked with running the channels despite him having the pace of a man pulling a caravan and last year we gave him absolutely no service yet he still finished our top goalscorer by some distance. If you play a style of football which suits him, i.e. battering the ball to his feet in the 6-yard box he had a knack of getting a foot in front of a defender and invariably scoring.
  20. Through different positions: Goalkeeper: Honourable mention to Doobydoo for his performance against rangers. Defender: Hutchinson against Aberdeen in his last game. He was an absolute goliath. Even when we switched to an experimental 2-at-the-back formation. Midfielder: Bob Malcolm at Parkhead. Actually Lionel Ainsworth against against St Johnstone sticks in the memory as a recent one. Everytime he got the ball he was drifting past 2-3 men. Was unlucky to only get one goal. Striker: Faddy against Dundee. An absolutely ridiculous performance. Some of the dribbling on display was ridiculous.
  21. Don't get my hopes up like that, troops.
  22. Struggling to think of a more inept managerial performance than that last night. He drops his only senior central midfielder and also the top scorer at the club. He plays a fucking pointless 4-3-3 which I have never seen Motherwell play with any success. The formation left Robinson completely isolated up front against two centre backs who won't have an easier shift this season. Dom Thomas then showed a bit of promise drifting by a few men then immediately gets subbed. Johnson spent the first half wide right doing nothing, and the second half wide left doing nothing. Meanwhile, we continue to have the useless, gutless, pointless fucking waste of a jersey Taylor wandering about the centre circle like a shit Barry Ferguson tribute act. My only explanation is that it must be in Taylor's loan deal that he needs to play every game unless he's injured/suspended, because he doesn't warrant a fucking place out of his performances. Leitch contributed slightly more than Taylor in that he actually won one tackle and played one good through ball. Grimshaw was probably the best of the three as he actually looked like he wanted to get the ball and pass it regularly. At least when we brought McDonald and Moult on and went two up front we asked some questions of their defence. Ainsworth was ok, but I just wish he would take the ball on more often. The upshot was we were overrun by a Morton side who weren't more talented, but actually looked like they cared. They played an organised style of football and outran us all night. We played right into their hands. I mean for fuck sake we made Ross Forbes look like a classy, game running central midfielder. Baraclough's got to go before the rot really sets in. We look like a team who are hiding from each other. No one in that team last night looked like they wanted to get a grip of the game and make a difference. IB's been backed to build his own squad and we've been left with 6 strikers, 3 keepers and no experienced cover in midfield. He's had the signing policy of an excitable 12 year old who's just been given unlimited money on Football Manager.
  23. Now just to get the Straker deal wrapped up and we're ready to win the league next year.
