  1. I agree that Kettlewell has overthought it over the last few weeks, however lets give him some credit for making the subs that changed the match. We often hear about no plan B however not so much this week.

Great goal from Moses best comback since Lazarus

  2. This is absolute rubbish, someone has reviewed this and came up with a statment like that. What should have come back is sorry we made a complete mess these decisions the refereeing team will be reviewed and sanctions placed on the VAR official who will have no more VAR duties until retraining has taken place all fees to be withheld

  3. Paper thin squad we ran out of legs and bench options and completly lost our shape when Nicholson came on but we gave as good as we got for long periods in this game against a team with vast resources. No complaints with application a draw was a fair result. Only critisim i have is when their big guy came on up front we should have man marked him out of the game.

Wellgirl, sadly it mirrors life. Those that shout loudest and the most often always appear to be the majority when in fact they are not. And what do they do when their obsession makes little sense? They shout even louder and more often.

Keep fighting the good fight. Common sense usually wins through.

We will have to disagree on Alexander though. His time really had come to an end. As it does for all Managers in the long run.

Empty vessels make the most noise

SK's primary issue is not having a decent plan B and being able to adjust mid match.

Last night become obvious by 20 mins that we were being outfought. We should have changed formation in first 25 mins.

He waited until we were 2 down - that's a huge error.

Then just brought on 3 strikers when it was obvious we had to break them down.

There's a lot the manger does well and he has people playing for him but his in game mgt is poor. Hence the amount of draws & defeats.

We were outfought on the night 2nd to every ball (you have to blame the poor players for that last night)would a half fit Halliday have made any difference earlier Who was there to bring on to change it.

Kelly throwing the ball into the net, lets face it Morton had themore experenced and better team on the pitch last night, what does that say about our standard and recruitment!

Sadly that’s all we’ve got to cling to, that other teams can be slightly more shite than us. Like I said, we have nothing to look forward to as a club.

Just go and support someone else please nothing possitive to say ever what a miserable person you are

  7. I think any campaign that can get traction like this has must be the envy of every other club whether its cringworthy or not if it had just been bland it would have disappeared without a trace i for one hope its sucessful and we get some serious investers looking to fund our wee club. Because the current model is not providing enough funds to keep us competetive and there's only one way that ends.

That is an excellent update by Derek Weir, and hats off to him for doing it. However, his high praise for the current management team suggests he could be chomping at the bit to extend their contracts beyond the end of this season, regardless of their poor performance (so far) this season. I get that we can't empty them now, as he explained why, but they're out of contract at the end of the season and should be on their way if the current trajectory continues, which is looking possible at the moment. To put it simply, given McMahon and Weir are stepping down and/or leaving to allow the Club the opportunities to move forward instead of standing still, awarding a poorly performing management team a new contract, in my opinion, would be the antithesis of what they're trying to achieve for the Club. Therefore, regardless of on-field performance, the timing of the appointment of a new CEO and Weir's departure could be pivotal in determining who the management team will be for next season. I understand that what I am concerned about here is hypothetical, but that's my gut reaction.

Another dig at Kettlewell you really need to move on

On the back of yesterday's result I reckon SK's position is safe for now. However, its on the basis of what we do from now on that he'll be judged. He'll be given this window of course and thats huge for us and him.

I think yesterday was mixed bag. Yes, he deserved credit for getting the win and you could say his plan worked a treat, which to some extent it did. However, it wasn't entirely successful.

The defence was shaky again, and although McGinn did add some stability we lacked height and muscle in there, especially against the likes of Livingston. The midfield was all wrong especially in the second half when we elected to sit in deep and let Livingston come at us. With that defence??? Its all very well fielding 3 strikers but they have to play as 3 strikers. I hardly noticed any contribution from Shaw.

Not quite sure what to make of SK yesterday.  He got us the much needed win but his line up and tactics made it harder than it need to be and a better team would have punished us. We'll see how we fare aginst Hibs.

What a load of rubbish nothing bar however and buts this and that wrong well did we win? Yes job done for yesterday. Much harder than it needed be !! i bet Martindale would have taken that

What are you on after the run we have been on 3 points are so welcomed i think by all supporters

Lets just shut the body Quincy and move on his tactics worked, but i hope your application is successful when Kettlewell gets the boot. I look forward to your selections and results
