  1. This article says it all the club mis managed the Max Johnston affair and were losing the player for a song
  2. Hope we get Furlong back on a season loan, we also need a new starting CM and CD doubt we will get much more
  3. What has this financial talk to do with former players?
  4. Goss can leave anytime not a loss IMO
  5. Spittal 6 Goals 7 assists Goss 1 Goal 4 assists Furlong and Johnston played half a season and got 3 assists each Not saying he can't pass but its what you should expect from a Premiership player (i know that earleir no one could string two passes together but that must have been training/confidence under Hammell) On these stats he is not making as many key passes as you may think
  6. Please are you really comparing Goss to either Russell or Cooper, don't believe he could lace their boots
  7. He never tracks back is not the great passer we all think who has the most assists well its the much malgned Spittal i believe
  8. Goss will be no loss missing when the times are tough
  9. What a strange way to look at it but no more than i expect from you
  10. I have no doubt he'll be happy with his pay packet but who wants a career as a benchwarmer training with no real chance of ever playing.
  11. With Johnston and Cornelius away i'd only be looking to keep Casey from that bunch
  12. Its a pity that a good keeper like that is sitting watching not playing, equally as good as Carson, Randolf etc its a waste of a career but money talks
  13. Was arguably one of our better players under Hammell never got a chance with the kettle
  14. i would take him there is a player there
  15. Cornelius is not resigning and looking for new challanges https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/10807136/motherwell-dean-cornelius-new-challenge/?fbclid=IwAR0Cy5DsIDQaGIwAxea31hrihh1Jl9VMRexp0uS1Qhuh0Ha89R0QuC35hBQ
  16. Surely there fans will be up in arms after the way he left them
  17. Championship Play-offs have been great for end of season excitment.
  18. Messi 1.7m or 5 5 foot 7 - Tierney 1.74m or 5 foot 9 Ok i know that your always right so the internet must be wrong again
  19. yep your right messi's only slightly smaller
  20. First two out the door unfortunatly McGinlay has another year should never have been extended. Must try and get Furlong back

    Alexander.

Looking back it was a good learning season and just goes to show how important is the managerial appointment is. I have always thought that a half decent manager can do well in this league even with a bang average squad. So was it pure luck to bring Kettlewell into the club or an inspired look into the future who knows but i am delighted it has worked out so well for him, however as much as i have critisied the recruitment the January transfers certainly made the difference as well. Hope we don't start next season with the same shambles Alexander left us with.
  22. Interesting how the results are weighted to players who performed under Hammel when the team was shit. I'd say Furlong was much better than Penny, but Penny only had to compare with Carroll and McGinlay who are rank and should ever have had extended contracts. I reckon Solholm got the votes because he was a megaphone fans fav, but again Butcher and Cassey are head and shoulders above. I guess Van Veen's purple patch under the Kettle has stopped the other mentioned above getting the votes it would be interesting to see this split under Managers. Thanks for setting this up
  23. Now does that prove how lucky we were to get Butcher and Cassey when we did, Surely saved our season there
  24. Mandron is a slow plank of wood unfortunatly
