  1. Just wondering where the consensus lies for boozers before the match? Any particular places that will be celtic-free?
  2. The guidance of the great Mark McGhee will steer us through.
  3. McGhee must've seen a different game to me going by that interview....50/50 game my arse.

    Fir Park

Falkirk have hit the nail on the head as far as I'm concerned. They have an impressive main stand and two other stands which are close in and steep with capacity sitting at 8K. Once they build the fourth stand it will stick out as the best small new ground by a country mile, and not bankrupted the club like Airdrionians. Whilst the stands are pretty far apart, the gaps could/should be screened off like hibs have done at Easter Road. Fir Park is home, however the cost and what we are loosing out on income wise through lack of facilities is poor. If the club built a Falkirk style effort, the corners could be filled in with other facilities with pitchside views such as bars/restaurant/community trust facilities or even one of these 24/7 gym complexes which are springing up around the joint.
  5. Teams managed by McGhoo generally screw up big games (perhaps in part to the mans tactical genius) so forgive my negativity but this will be no different.
  6. I didn't go tonight and thank god I didn't. Petrol to get there, price to get in then to be served up utter dross...can you blame folk? Your talking about the best part of 30 scud all round for a fan walking up to the gate by the time you account for all other expenses. I never missed a game home or away for as long but sod this. I do go to the odd game but as for the rest...I have thrown in the towel, I'll spend the cash on something else. Regarding some of the other posts re sacking Mcghee...there's a manager in charge who looks like he's only there as there's no better offer...his whole attitude and ethos towards the club stinks.
  7. I was under the impression the schools carparks were for disabled/elderly supporters...could be wrong though!
  8. It can be too loud in parts of the main stand as well. This guy has been here a few seasons now and does seem to like the sound of his voice. I wasn't there yesterday, but was at the game v Dundee, and I think having kids read out the starting line ups pr-match is a bit daft.
  9. Thank god Dundee are shite. We could've had open goals today and still not finished. I felt we shit ourselves more than once today in the final third.
  10. Sorry I think to be aiming for a point against Dundee is well below the standard we should be aiming for. As far as I am concerned Dundee are a similar sized club to ourselves, we should definitely be aiming to take three points at home against them especially in times like this when the club have got off to a poor start.
  11. Looking forward to Muttleys interview. Wonder what he'll come out with this week.
  12. I seem to remember a deal where free/massively discounted tickets were punted out to schools across the shire...in particular one game against Kilmarnock where if memory serves me correctly Clarkson made a right chorus n verse of a penalty. We have 8-9 thousand seats empty every week in Fir Park, lets get them filled up with the free tickets for schools and local boys clubs, I suspect most of them are rarely at a live game beyond a happy birthday trip to the grewsome twosome. So a chance to get young people in the ground might go some way to growing our long term attendance against our ageing fanbase.
  13. I'm going to baracade myself away for this one. Not because I fear a heavy defeat, its the pish you need to listen to afterwards. It is merited, given the stick I give sevconians on a regular basis. Whilst Rangers didnt have a great game against Dundee, they ground out the win and wither we are able to do that regular over the course of the season remains to be seen. Hoping Hammell is back, I know the lad isn't on form of his life but Chalmers isn't cutting it at the minute and experience in the left is a safer option against the likes of Sevco.
  14. My question is that are we genuinely that bad to merit a 5-0 drubbing? Regardless of who we were playing..
  15. Jesus cant even ask a question
  16. Regarding the staleness of the groups, Im not sure if this is the case, but changing the groups about year on year might be good. For example next year we are in a group with Falkirk, Stirling, Stenhousemuir etc?
  17. Does anyone know, with the change in sponsorship, will the hideous Cash Converters billboards getting removed from the East Stand Roof?
  18. Listening on Radio Scotland chap mentioned Kilmarnock were playing quite crude, hope Motherwell don't lower themselves, don't want to start racking up the yellow cards in the first game of the season.
