Nijholt has already said that the Youth at Motherwell would be very important in any decision he makes regarding applying/taking the job here so I think we would be onto a winner with him being involved. Would he be willing to be number 2 to someone though at Motherwell?

Don't necessary agree. This time 2 years ago we had three years of long ball football. No one could believe that we could pass the ball past players. Now, with McGhee showing that we can we are a lot more attractive to possible managers. We might only have 14 first team players, but we managed to get third by using 15 or something last season. I laugh sometimes when some people moan that we need to get rid of deadwood (some mentioning the likes of McGarry and DL Smith) yet moan at the lack of depth in our squad. Which one would you like? Depth in Squad or rid of the deadwood - neither of which I think are deadwood anyway. People forget our out of contract players were given new contracts to consider, it is not directly McGhee's fault that they didn't sign before he left.

I also know one Irishman who is currently playing at his level. I bet it's the same player...

Although McGhee does seem to be a whore (although, he is not as bad as people have mentioned on here) Leitch is fucking a lot worse in my eyes. Was my favourite player when he was playing for us, but while McGhee has been voicing his opinion and letting us know he is only here until something better comes along the former legend that was Leitch was thinking the same thing but letting McGhee do his talking. It was the same with Hearts! Fucker!

To be honest I more pissed off at Leitchy than McGhee.

You spelt Leeann's name wrong! Guys there is a very large thread to talk about the pros and cons of who should be our manager. I recommend using that thread as it means we can keep all discussions together and it means there is no need to have the same basic posts in multiple threads.

Aye. On me but that is for First Team only which, with numbers sticking to closely what we have seen recently. I one to bring in some quality, we're naw even getting some Junior players if that was yearly!

Me personally. As most before me build a stadium (about 14,000, anything bigger would be a waste that this time) with room to expand if need be - all other facilities except attendance would cover at least a 4 star stadium. Of course it will be built at the 'Craig. I would call it "The Steelworks". After that I would ban shirt sponsors and instead pay £3m a year into the Club for 5 years to cover any loss of revenue Season tickets down to £100 per Adult, £50 for 12-16 year olds and free for anyone younger for 5 years. A wage structure of £4,500 - £10,000 max. I know it seems low but I would offer a lot more in bonuses - this exists for 5 years After 5 years I will decide what more can I do and work from there...

Naw a bad shout for Manager/Assistant but you are very harsh on Leitchy. If you read these boards there would be an outcry, with some even screaming blue murder if Leitch was given the job! If I knew that was behind me, being what he has been for MFC that some sections (maybe even a large section) would be against yout appointment before a ball was even kicked then I don't blame him.

Paul Sturrock's naw a bad shout at all. Funny thing was I was just watching his performance in front of the travelling United fans when they played Plymouth in a friendly. I think if it worked out well us 'Well fans could get some great banter with him as gaffer.
