  1. How many are we expecting to take this week over there? Update as you go! ME! 1
  2. by the way guys the klm prices through the ebooker website is through the roof. go via the sky scanner website and it gives u it cheaper. Must be a loophole in the website
  3. Mate me and my pal are currently looking into the idea of flying from Liverpool. If we are going i'm sure we would be able to organise something if it means to keep the cost low.
  4. What detials are with that mate? times airline etc?
  5. Stuck in work so can't give them a ring. anyone else looked at this?
  6. Guys, a possible suggestion if any of you fancy it. You can get a return flight from Edinburgh to Bratislava, flying out the wed and returning the friday and it comes in at £189 each. Anyone fancy renting a minibus or such and driving it from bratislava to bucharest and back? Reckon it's just under a 500 mile trip. Got nae idea how much it would cost to hire a car or a bus but may be cheaper.
  7. wouldn't half! Im not saying I'm going to but would certainly be a cheaper option! How long did the bus to Dortmund take?
  8. how long would it take you to drive it?
  9. Out of my price range so will be looking at making my own way.
  10. Cheers for the update Kevin. Gave him a quick ring earlier, glad to hear that he will make it tonight. Scott
  11. a signing not to be sniffed at . boom, and once again, boom.
  12. Agreed. May not be the most complimentary thing we have ever had said about us, but it's not that far off the mark. However I would rather we worked within our means than going in the same direction we did when JB first took over.
  13. It's all the banks fault
  14. Bit surprised at his comments. However, nothing really out of turn. If he thinks going to league one is a step up, then he can think that.
  15. Would I redeem myself if I let out who it was?
  16. Typical Motherwell, although one goal from us and we are back in the driving seat.
  17. Bloody hell Erm...ok...where do I start here? Quite bemused as to the response on here from certain quarters. The story with Mr Miller made it into today's Sun after we followed up on it. I fail to see how it is painting the club in a negative light, considering it makes reference to Mr Miller being helped out by fellow supporters, the club being kind and caring etc. Yes it makes reference to the two yobs who did the damage, however I wouldn't be doing my job if I said a pigeon dropped an ice cream cone on him by accident would I? As others have mentioned in my defence, people are showing a distinct lack of knowledge of the press industry, which is fair enough as not many on here I imagine are involved in it. The story was written in full where it did actually talk about the well behaved travelling support from the 'Well fans. As Neil and others are mentioned, articles that are submitted to papers are trimmed heavily and changed and sub-edited heavily to suit each individual paper style (a wire can have easily 10+ papers on it). It is outwith my control what gets kept and what gets binned. For me the story shows our club from an official point of view being pro-active with their fan base, especially with the lovely touch of Dougie going out to meet Mr Miller in person and also Diane paying him a visit. I did contact the club, but due to the relevant staff being abroad no official comment could be made with the club talking about the well behaved majority (this is the same position as the story in the Wishaw Press). As I said in one PM i received, I'm sorry if some 'Well fans were annoyed by what was printed but at the end of the day it is factually correct. It reports a loyal 'Well fan being attacked by two yobs, and being supported by fellow fans and also the club. Aye it would be nice if the bit about the other 2,000 fans had made it in as well, but that doesn't sell papers... Scott
  18. Absoltuely nae chance.
  19. I would disagree with that. Clarky would be a big miss if we had strikers that were missing hundreds of chances, but the truth is our pish midfield far too often fails to give our strikers the opportunity to stick the ball in the back of the net. People are moaning about John Sutton being pish. What else could he really have done the other night with the chances that he was given? We didn't have any urgency or any purpose. For me Quinn was always someone, no matter how well he was playing himself, was someone that drove the team forward. A live wire that really did make the team tick. We will miss him.

    Canterbury

echo what has already been said before, but the line of "the strip is by far a greater quality" is lost on me. The material is horrific compared to the Bukta top. My top has lots of wee catches on it already and I have had it only a week. I applaude the club for trying to please the fans with the hoop and right now they may be feeling we are fucked if we do and we are fucked if we don't. In saying that, I feel that in amungst the hoohaa regarding the hoop, perhaps the rest of the product has been overlooked.
  21. Am I the only one that is slightly nervous at the presumption that we are going to pump this mob in the first game?
