Anybody know which if any of the pubs around Hampden allow kids in?
I suspect the clockwork might, but never been on a match day.
Clockwork was a nightmare to get in for the Semi Final against Aberdeen. We were there for the doors opening and managed to get in with enough time for one pint. I suspect all other boozers will be the same!

Dont think it matters to us who gets it.
Thomson, Madden, Collum and Clancy are all Celtic men. The rest are just pish.
As I former Rangers season ticket holder Madden?
Referees aren’t biased, they are just shit!

Let the ticket scramble commence...

Was told today by a mate who's a sponsor at St Midden that we've signed Gavin Reilly on a pre contract. Might be bollocks but I think he's scored a few this season.
That rumour was bouncing around on P&B a couple of weeks ago.
From memory, he never quite cut it at Hearts. Would be worried if we are going into next season with him as our top man up top.

Accies have no defence. We have no attack worth talking about.
0-0

Give big Alex a break. Needs a run of games. I remember higdon and bowman getting pelters and they came good.
He is murder. Hopefully his run of games is elsewhere.

Ive voted Carson for a couple of decent stops.
I probably should have voted anyone but Fisher. Possibly the worst striker that we have ever had at the club. He offers nothing to this side and we are in bother if we are going to need to rely on him after the January break.

Planning on driving. Any recommendations on where to park? Considering city centre and underground.

Can see myself standing outside hampden begging for tickets on the day.
If any 'Well fan doesn't get a ticket due to it being sold out then I'll give them mine. We won't even sell out our initial allocation.

Rangers are rightly favourites for the match, but we are playing well at the moment and have way more fight than any recent Motherwell side. If both sides play to their potential then they will come out on top but if they are not on form then we have a very good chance of winning this game.
I would go with the same XI as Saturday. Will be disappointed if Robinson changes a working formula to try and combat them.

Aye ok.just a wee bit of banter.i will stick to Sunday names.. hope young Christopher Cadden has a great game backed up by Andrew Rose.....COMMMEEEEEE. ONNNNNNNNN YEEEEEEEEE WELLLLLLL
That's a bit of a riddy.

Rumours that Ali Crawford is out for 6 weeks. Would be good news ahead of Saturday.

I can't believe the amount for folk moaning about the price of the tickets or the fact they don't get "priority" for putting in a fiver a month.
They can have one of the c4000 left once they go on public sale.

Tabloids reporting that we are going to open talks around an extended contract.
Was it until Summer 18 that he signed initially?

I'd imagine so. Our budget for the current year would have been set out well before the start of the season. We're having a good cup run; attendances are well up; we'll have 3 home games against the gruesome twosome; we'll have the Celtic euro money; and we've picked up a wee bit in transfer fees. All good news. However (there's always a but) the reroofing of the John Hunter Stand will have been costly, bonus payments will be up this season; we may have had to pay off a few ex members of staff (eg Mark McGhee and Jacob Blyth; and youth Development costs may well be rising.
I heard through the grapevine that it was done for minimal cost in exchange for Commercial advertising. Could be way off the mark.

Drop Tait and Bigi for Frear and Rose.
We should have enough to win this.

At least he's getting a game. Noticed another speed merchant, Lionel, was an unused sub again today.
Don't think he's made an appearance yet.
He came off the bench and got about 20mins. Supposedly touched the ball about twice according to my Donny supporting mate.
Plymouth have got some amount of players that used to play up here and most of them were rank rotten. Maybe that's why they are doing so poorly...
-
Getting a second win against Aberdeen would put down a serious marker. However Aberdeen surely won't be as poor twice in a row.
I don't think they were that poor (with the exception of Lewis). We completely outplayed them.

I wasn't convinced with his appointment at the time but I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed by the job he has done.
He has been in charge for 22 matches and has a win rate of almost 55%. That is the better than any Motherwell manager has ever managed (whilst I appreciate it is over a small number of matches to most and it's unlikely to maintain at that level).
We also have a squad of 20(ish) players who are all strong. There are no weak links in the squad and we won't feel the same impact with injuries/suspensions as we did under McGhee and McCall.
I've got a feeling that this team are going to achieve something...

Hearing from Leyton Orient pal that Craig Clay is proving to be a very impressive signing.
Perhaps the change of setting is helping him to realise his potential.
Change in level he is playing at is more accurate.

The opportunity to create a larger gap over those currently around the bottom should be priority.
Agreed. We need to be beating our rivals at the bottom end at home to create a bit of a gap. Its never long until we have a tough run of fixtures that could see us pick up minimal points.
Tough to make too many changes from the Hearts game (with the exception of Hartley in for Heneghan). It will be interesting to see who Robinson lines up with.

You sure?
I briefly saw the goal on the red button thing on Sky Sports but don't remember hearing his name during the commentary. I'm sure my ears would have pricked up had I heard his name mentioned.
Flashscores has it down as a goal for Kait
Anier wasn't on the pitch when the goal went in so suspect he wasn't involved in the goal...

Looking ahead, Ali Crawford is out of contract at Accies next summer. Certainly worth having the conversation but suspect a Hibs/Aberdeen/Hearts etc will be sniffing around.

Going on what is being reported this morning across the press, I don't see any movement in or out from us today. Would be fairly happy if that is the case as we have a decent squad, with a bit of depth that we have not had a for a few seasons.

With us being at the other side of Hampden, where do you think the buses will be directed to park?
