Wasn't there today and have to say im really happy with the point and it's a clean sheet for our much maligned defence. By reading the reports we've been unlucky not to have won with a dodgy ref who wasn't wanting to spoil the party. So all in all a good day and after watching the Edinburgh derby we've nowt to fear from Hearts on wednesday. Onwards and upwards.

As i've posted many times play Mark Reynolds left side of midfield alongside Hughes Lasley and Krimpl. We're fighting relegation and need to tighten up and GET REYNOLDS THE FECK OUT OF OUR DEFENCE! .

I think it'll be Accies as ICT are more streetwise and experienced in the SPL. We'll finish 3rd bottom just in front.

Yep and PLEASE can one be a centre half who can tackle and not get easily outmuscled. .

Yep i believe he'll be off during the window and we'll get about 200 grand which is ok considering we got him for nowt and he;s done hee-haw for us this season. Best not to hang onto him as he wont be trying 100%.I'd be trying to punt some deadwood also ie McGarry and try and get a million for Reynolds. . Go on Walter you know it makes sense. .

Personally i'd shelve this month's player of the month award and give it to the Well fans who've had to endure a month of crap on the park and in my case pelters in my work in Glasgow too. In fact having thought about it i nominate ME! .

Bob Malcolm will make a good central defender im CERTAIN of that. He played there and very accomplished when we actually WON away to ICT. Hopefully Craigan will be fit to play alongside him in defence. IF Reynolds plays then it should be left side of midfield as i think he could do a good job for us there. I cant believe the amount of posts that have him as a Central DEFENDER for this vital relegation battle i wouldn't let Reynolds ANYWHERE near that position again he just cant do it he's not strong enough and has been causing goals against us ALL SEASON long from that crap backheader at Swinecastle to the crap header that caused Kille's reserves 2nd goal what sbout the feeble attempt to tackle Tthe fat Aussie for their 2nd at Fir Park and as for saturday's crap attempt to stop Accies kid on Irishman's 2nd. I agree it would be Scott Leitch god help us if that happens....the top 6 will be like the other side of the moon. I cant believe MM has suddenly became a bad manager but is at the moment not playing people in their correct positions and playing people who've been pants all season ie McGarry. Reynolds and Quinn.

Sorry folks much as i love us getting a good run in the cup im afraid it's only going to be a distraction this season from the main event which is to avoid relegation. I wont be going to Inverurie and the 2 games against ICT and StMirren are MUCH more important to us this season. Hopefully next season with another manager and mid table respectibility we can have a go at getting to Hampden.

A lot of good posts here it always strikes me that the fans know what's wrong in terms of selection and tactics yet MM doesn't. Porter and Sutton doesn't work. Hopefully DC will be back on saturday and give us the type of performance he did last season in the midweek game against ICT when we were quite magnificent in the 1st half to eventually win 3-0 and he scored a cracker. I still think that with Craigan back and Reynolds removed from our defence hopefully to a midfield role left side in place of McGarry whose been pants all season we can start to score again an show some fighting spirit in our relegation battle. I still believe that ICT and Accies will finish below us.

Yes Caley are crap but so are Accies and Kilmarnock's reserves. Their 1st team got beat today at home to St'Mirren. Two CERTAINTIES i fear about next week 1 Mark Reynolds will be sweeper again as usual and cost us a goal and Caley will beat us 2-0. Now that i've calmed down from today's disgracefull showing i have to say there's been a lot of good posts on this thread. It's correct that we wont sack MM as it would cost too much money i cant believe either that he's became a crap manager but he really needs to start dropping players and kicking arses how McGarry Quinn and Reynolds get a game when they;re pants every week is beyond me and the 2 'signings' of O'Brien and the injured/midget/pish Krimpl prove to me that he has lost his way a wee bit. The jan transfer window is going to be crucial. I just want us to get back to playing football on the deck. Play players in their best positions and THINK about what he's doing. Our defence is pants and yet the worst of them Reynolds gets a game no matter how bad he is in defence and yet i KNOW he could do a job for is left midfield. Sutton has been pants for weeks now and yet he's also guaranteed a game McGarry and Quinn can leave in the window and free up some cash to get other people in. The everpish RIGHT footed Steven McGarry LEFT side of midfield the everpish goal a game all season to the opposition Mark Reynolds gets ANOTHER game oh and guees what he causes ANOTHER goal. Now that we're embroiled in a 4 way relegation battle with Accies-Caley-Falkirk-StMirren i feel we do have the players to escape it but after last night's gutless display against Kilmarnock's reserves there are several things about our team that bother me 1-Why is Mark Reynolds(whose pish header led to their 2nd goal)remaining as a central defender when he clearly doesn't have the body strentgh to hold off an attacker. PLAY HIM LEFT SIDE OF MIDFIELD. 2.Why does the crap Steven McGarry get a game in the LEFT side of midfield when he's right footed. 3.Why did MM play 2 tall but slow strikers in Sutton and Porter when he had no-one going wide to supply them with decent service. 4. Jim O'Brian is crap 5.Bob Malcolm is NOT a midfielder he's a central defender. I believe that if MM starts to THINK about his team selections in the forthcoming weeks and playing players in their best positions we can get ourselves out of this mess and although the top 6 is now beyond us we can get to mid table security and let MM get the move to his 'BIGGER' club at the end of the season.
