These next 2 games come into the VERY important category and so far this season in every such game we've been pish i.e. The Nancy (home) game in EUFA cup. Accies(home) game in league cup. The St. Mirren (away) game in the Scottish cup. The Kilmarnock and Aberdeen MUST win games for a top 6 place. We've went on a good run not losing many games which has made us safe but we;ve not got enough in our locker for these CRUNCH games. So no way do i expect us to overtake Hibs and it's bottom 6 im afraid we lost our chance on saturday. We've done as well as we possibly can this season with the loss of Porter .Macormack and Lappin and replacing them with Sutton Sheridan and McGarry/Fitzpatrick. It's not rocket science that we're not as good as last season. I'd LOVE to be proved wrong. .

Should be a decent game today hopefully Clarky back fresh from the booze sodden Scotland trip. . Can see a few goals today and a 2-2 draw as we cant seem to be able to beat them this season.

I cant really see the need for a debate on this one folks he's obviously a wee ned scumbag and should be shown the door immediately. .

Just to point out folks that if a winger gets to the bye line then everyone and their grannie is onside so surely that must be the most productive way to get goals. A whipped in cross between keeper and defender around the 6 yard box is by far the best way to get a forward rushing in on the end of it. We have John Sutton who will get goals if the service is there. Going on the outside also opens play up as against going inside where more often than not a player will run into a midfielder. We've tried McGarry left side(pish) Fitzpatrick left side(pish) Hughes left side(pish) and O'Brian left side(pish). A leftie would create more space going down the flanks. Remember Jim Paterson and the cracking crosses he used to deliver from wide left? And of course the late great Davie Cooper. .

Thought Craigan Reynolds and Hammell did all that was asked of them. My vote goes to the Killie ballboys who supplied both teams with towels to help with throw ins. .

After watching Jim O'Brian's howling performance yestrday at Rugby park i still wonder if we wouldn't be better putting Mark Reynolds in left mid in a Steven Pearson role as he has pace can play a ball to a team mate and once he practices crossing i believe could do an ok job for us. Move McLean into sweeper role which adds height to our defence and play Jim O'Brian on the RIGHT side as he's RIGHT footed. That would put Quinn at right back as he's PISH in midfield. Surely that would give us proper balance instead of having players looking like fish out of water and me tearing what remaining hair i've got out ma heid. .

Watching this dross on Setanta thank feck i didn't go. Jim O'Brian a left winger? . Sutton would be as well watching it in the away end with the fans for all he's done. Only 2 who even look interested are Hughes and Sheridan. Only bright light is we're looking as though we'll not lose more than one goal as defensively we're ok. I'd bring on Clarky. Get O'Brian on the other wing and get Sutton tae feck. .Not looking forward to the 2nd half the way we're playing.

Wisheywell that was class. . Forgot to mention that MM has taken over from Leitchey in giving other managers verbals. Mark Reynolds has got his act together and CAN indeed tackle a fish supper. Mixu Putalineoan is still a fud at Hibs and we've FINALLY replaced Colin O'Neill with Maros Krimpl. Let the European chase begin! .

I just have a feeling this guy wont feature for us at all and be sent on his way unfortunately. .

Jeeso i knew we were crap on live tv but ONE win in about 30 games that's appalling. Rugby park is a difficult place for us so it's a 1-1 draw im afraid. .

He's a cracking manager for us and we should be very happy to have him. We've been progressing as a team under him with a lot of external events going on ie our lack of transfer cash and our midden of a pitch. IN MM WE TRUST! . My only wee critisism is could he PLEASE make sure we dont go out of both cups AGAIN like spineless pussies next season. .

Clarky and Sutton for me too but i've a felling MM will go with Sharidan at Killie as he's probably promised his pal Wee Chesney to play him in so many games. Im not really into this Clarky's a bit jaded thing. If he is give him a couple of days off this week again. He deserves it. Then hopefully he'll put Killie to the sword on saturday. Sheridan should be on the bench. .

Have to say considering our threadbare squad we've did ok this season and top 6 is still a possibility but next season we'll lose Smith and Hughes and we REALLY need to get decent players in or we could be in bother like we were for a spell this season. I dont believe Hearts have been lucky we haven;t been good enough when we needed BIG performances this season we didn't produce time and time again. Nancy. St.Mirren and Hearts are just 3 games that prove we need new players in. Hopefully a top 6 finish will give us more cash to do that and help get our midden of a pitch in order. . Sorry folks but the truth hurts.

I remember a fab day out in Dundee when Softie scored in the 94th minute. I was on a supporters bus fae Hamilton and running late so grabbed 2 bottles of 20/20 'ginger' as i thought. MELTED and we managed to get chucked out a club in Dundee for singing before the game. Saw some hilaroius 'handbags' outside Tannadice after the game too. Fab day out.

Sorry but im not for a 20th anniversary cup winning bash. I do remember 91 and how fab it was but i still hold out hope that we win another cup in my lifetime. Then i'll CELEBRATE! .

This game has the makings of a BANKER draw 2-2. Hope im wrong and we stuff them anyway i hope also Brian Kerr gets PELTERS as does Malpas .

Yep great to see him back fit and determined here's hoping he puts pressure on our defenders for a starting place every week he's desperate for a new deal so i hope he does fab tommorrow. He'll be up against Ritchie Foran. .

Yes of course it makes sense surely if both clubs are in agreement a saturday switch shouldn't be a problem. Even the numbnuts that run the SPL see that this makes good sense. If it's saturday i'll be there if it's wednesday i cant make it. How many other fans are in the same boat?

Have to say he came across very well in the press interview now if he can only learn to PASS a ball 10 yards CROSS a ball into the box and not the back of the stand and actually gat more involved in games then im sure the boo boys that dont affect him will actually applaud him off when he gets subbed. Im just hoping they aren't going to make a 'figure hugging' strip like the rugby guys have got not for ma XL frame. . Seriously looking forward to seeing the new strip as my white away one is gubbed now.

Although overall i dont rate 'Father' Brines i have to say he did ok yesterday apart from that assault on Craigan in the 1st half from Vinegar Of Castlemilk. He gave THEM a foul for it UNBELIEVABLE! .

Yep i'd certainly like to keep MM at the helm as long as we can. Hopefully we can get the pitch sorted out and get a couple of decent players ie a striker and centre half for next season. In MM we trust. .

Not a great game but delighted with the point to come back against them takes guts. I thought we'd get humped today but DELIGHTED to be proved wrong. Top 6 now ONWARDS AND UPWARDS! Lets turn the dissapointment of thursday into something positive and see where it takes us, .

Im afraid we'll get pumped on sunday. There's NO WAY we'll score and they'll get 1-2-3 depending on how we defend which has improved to be fair i'll go for a 2-0 defeat. .
