Humphrey. Outstanding today. Lasley had a decent game, but not his best IMO. He hit quite a few wayward and short passes yesterday. Played well, but not worth MoM in my opinion
  2. ZFA looked really sharp and composed when he came on - would be nice to see how he links up with Hammell on the left with a run in the team. Humphrey was absolutely outstanding yesterday, best game I think I've seen him have in a well jersey. Guess that's the problem with wingers though - they're either brilliant or awful, you never seem to see a winger having an "awrite" game. Law's goal was a corker, fine bit of skill - and the build up and finish for lasley's goal equally as good. Hollis - saved us the 3 points after Hateley's fuck up. Take a bow son - you did well. The players were delighted with him at full time as well
  3. It's expected of us now though, results all wet for us today. Braw.
  4. 19-0 18 for Higgy and 1 for Omar Daley
  5. agreed - i thought these kind of things were what the Well Society would have a vote on? Not a peep!
  6. Unfortunately that's not an uncommon thing when playing the Old Firm teams these days.
  7. In fairness they haven't beat us at Pittodrie since the dinosaurs were still running aboot. But, that said, I still fancy a narrow aberdeen win - a replay at best.
  8. Better get Hollis' joints oiled and dust off the jersey - need a performance from him on Saturday like the one he displayed the last time he played at Celtic Park.
  9. Aye but all games are recorded are they not? Therefore there's evidence for every game - IF the compliance wank decides he wants to investigate it. I disagree with your statement - the majority of us agree that Randolph should've been punished for the daft moment... it's the consistency and lack of clarity that's the issue here, not that we think our goalie should get away scot free.

I didn't even know we were playing tonight

i have to say I was somewhat taken aback at him getting roasted for pace by an ageing grey haired full back yesterday!!

Boy am I glad we've got Hutchy back! Deserved win and good, polished performance from the team. Only negative from the day is the continuation of Hateley's seeming inability to cross a ball, otherwise it could've been 7 or 8. But still, pass marks for everyone.
  13. Higdon helps old grannies across the road.
  14. but you are forgetting the fact that Higgy also doubles up as our best centre half
  15. Higdon is our best player
  16. Why do we seemingly always (recently) run out of ideas and steam after 65-70 mins? It's a regular occurrence. And sure as shit Ojaama get's subbed first, then Humphrey second - nearly always for Daley/McHugh. See just for once? Play a 4-3-1-2 with Murphy and Higdon up top and Ojaama just inside. And please make a sub before the 79th min? I know we weren't losing at the time, but it sure as shit was on the cards as we started to tire out and fall apart. Also? Our crossing is easily the most woeful in the SPL - truly shocking. Both from the crossers perspective and our positioning in the box for them. Played really well in the first half yesterday, just need to start converting the chances. But we also need to sort that back four out - chronic. Our centre halves were awful, Cummins in particular. Again, lots of positives about the first half, but oh so frustrating to see the same problems over and over and over again. McCall - go and give everyone elses opinion a try.. just for one half, see how you get on?
  17. Topper of a night out though! (I'm biased as my mate stays in Inverurie so had free digs)
  18. Please please please.... anyone but Rangers. We'll get pumped.
  19. Mind Malpas? Now he was indifference personified. Prick.
  20. This part I absolutely agree with. The first part I'm not so sure. I think the buck has to stop with management on the mindset of the players. They've clearly proven what they are capable of on their day - so the fact they aren't even a little consistent clearly points to an issue within the dressing room.
  21. to be honest i think part of the problem is that more and more people are becoming scunnered with football in general at the moment, and moments like the sevco match don't do much to reverse that trend.
  22. This. Even forgetting the fact that the fans were absolutely robbed of time, money and safety in that midden - we have looked a poor imitation of ourselves the last few weeks with no confidence and no creativity. And personally? I blame McCall for that - he and he alone is responsible for the mindset of the players and getting them ready for big games. I'm by no means calling for his head - but I can assure you I will be if something like that every happens again.
