Keflavik Airport is 48 Km from the ground, the city itself has an airport which is about 5 km from the ground. Depends where the plane lands I guess, though Keflavik is the international airport. Any diverted flights (due to weather) from Keflavik land at Reykjavik, so it could be used to land at I guess.

It was heartbreaking. Where we sat was virtually right in line with the 6-yard box and you swore it was in...until the very last bobble!

Not long after the plod confiscated my carry out at the airport. They let me have it back on the way home right enough!

About 5 or 6km according to Google maps (I think the terminal is on the Eastern side of the airport). Do a get directions from Reykjavik Airport, Iceland to Dalsmari, Iceland.

Would love to have done this again, did it twice previously for Finland and the Faroes and it's a great experience. Take a tent and you're sorted!

I read somewhere recently that Aberdeen have to spend around half-a-million every year just to keep Pittodrie up to safety standards. That seems excessive to me, but if it's the case, no wonder they are moving.

Remember it well actually. Thing which stands out most in my mind was pre-match, as we made our way to the turnstyles there was a Sky crew floating around. Heard them talk to loads of Celtic fans, none of which had an accent other than those normally found around Dublin........!
