  1. Noticed Odense are currently up 1-0 away to Brondby. Edit - Utaka has just made it 2-0.
  2. You missed your tongue-in-cheek avatar. Big Boab would have us down to ten men inside the first five minutes............
  3. That is a terrific win. Good preparation for Thursday.
  4. I seem to recall Flamurtari boasting about games against Barcelona from around the same period, didn't do them any good in the second leg last season! And yes, I know that Odense aint Flamurtari........!
  5. We can, I guess, expect to see him Refereeing in the SPL soon then!
  6. And, you know, that's exactly the sort of thing which could well inspire the lads to do the business on Thursday.
  7. But it shouldn't be any surprise we played the way we did. Scottish football gets a lot of bad press but it's really not as bad as is made out. We are proof of that! If you compare Danish club football to Scottish club football in European competitions, not been a big, big difference over the years.
  8. I'm sorry, but why should you beat us 8 out of 10 times? How many times have you seen us play? You almost contradict yourself by saying your players were arrogant then go on to say you should thump us almost everytime we play you. We're not a bad team, I'd have thought Thursday would have shown you that.
  9. Boyle might have ranted and raved, but it showed passion for the club. Not his pocket, the club.
  10. Blame the system, not the club. All Motherwell did was what the system allowed in order to survive.
  11. Look at pic No.2........ Bedlam!
  12. Nah, wasn't really my point. It's not OK for Cardiff to dodge this. We went into Admin to stop going bust, creditors got far more than normal in that situation and all apparently gladly accepted it. Cardiff are different, they have blatantly signed folk and shelled out cash on current signings when ignoring the fact they still owe us plenty.
  13. I'd be interested to know which of our creditors went out of business as a direct result of us going into Administration.
  14. This from the BBC..... Motherwell have made a complaint to Uefa about objects thrown at goalkeeper Darren Randolph during the 2-1 Europa League defeat to Odense BK. Cigarette lighters were thrown at Randolph during the play-off first leg clash at TRE-FOR Park. The incidents have been included in the Uefa match delegate's report. The two sides are due to meet again in the second leg at Fir Park next Thursday with a place in the group stages of the competition at stake.
  15. Now that could be THE most crucial goal we've scored for many, many years. YA BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. How did the bounce game go? Laughed at this wee bit on Albion Rovers website....
  17. Pretty sure Blackman got the wildcard which meant Casagolda can't feature at all in this round of Europe. Think we'd all be absolutely delighted with a similar result to that in Norway. And we are capapble of it. Go on lads, believe in yourselves.
  18. Andy Wanker, you are very much a walker...............
  19. Can't believe anyone from Cardiff would try and defend this. Pay up and shut up.
  20. I had a season ticket holder at Ibrox say to me yesterday they thought one of the games worth watching was Motherwell v Hibs, alwas guarenteed goals and a good game!
  21. My reports were always completely and utterly impartial.....from a Motherwell point of view......
  22. Their assistant manager was in the main stand. I don't think they'll have as much movement up front as Hibs had, though in saying that I imagine they'll have a stronger midfield. Keep it tight and all to play for a week on Thursday.

    Mark Reynolds

Not the only man to make a mistake today. Defenders get punished big-time, midfielders and strikers don't so much. Reynolds peeled off his man for their equaliser (which wasn't a free kick anyway), lay off him. Good defender.
  24. According to the BBC text he came on with six minutes to go. Surprised no-one noticed this.............-)
  25. Hibs were better than we were going forward today. They're a threat to anyone, though I think had we matched them with attacking options could have been different. Still, I said on Friday to someone that I'd rather we won or drew on Thursday and didn't get a good result today. 37 games left, only 2 between us and the group stages and money enough to strengthen.
