Had it confirmed that he did his hamstring whilst running

Adam Montgomery injured already is the rumour, anyone heard owt concrete on this?

Nerves are jittering now ... bad feeling about tonights game, would bite yer hand off for a 3-0 defeat just now.
A Govan troll.......

I can confirm Gavin works for the club, but to put your mind at rest why not email Flow or Alan Marshall to double check

Yir elder my pal who is a gers fans just txt me to say that he got 4 tickets in the main stand and he gave a carluke postcode so they are getting tickets in the home end somehow
I'd suggest he was talking pish!

Do you know, can you still buy your 2 extra tickets for friends with your season ticket
Numbers wise I reckon so, get your tickets sorted early to ensure your seated together though
-
Any idea how many tickets were sold today
Honestly don't know. Season holders seats reserved until Friday, very busy all day but still a good number left.

Myself and Phil Speedie worked in the office today to help out the staff. I can happily say that everyone worked their arses off to get the job done, and did it very well. Both on the phone and face to face the criteria for tickets was precisely the same; season ticket holder, Well Society member or on the database. I can confirm that away fans were refused tickets and that NO ONE got a ticket based on their postcode!
I realise it is awkward for Well fans out of area, but today the queues were massive and priority had to be given to that. Plus there currently isn't the infrastructure in place to deal with a big queue and both online and telephone bookings. Not allowing online sales helped alleviate any chance of massive amounts of away fans in our end too.
Regarding the allocation, preliminary meetings indicated a tentative agreement of 2000 for us at Ibrox and the South Stand for them at Fir Park. When they reneged on that without prior warning we were left with little choice, and I applaud Flow and Alan Marshall for their stance.

I wasn't exactly looking forward to watching two poor teams on a freezing day and it probably suits Barraclough as if he loses this one then gets the doings we are expecting at celtic park and tannadice he would be under pressure.
Hopefully this will get rearranged for the scottish cup saturday in march.
Saturday February 7th is available as the next cup day.

yir elder ... are you saying that as a fan , or someone who works at FP??? only asking
Ha ha, thanks for that! Hand on heart, both!

No one will be hurting more than Flow right now, take it from me. It's been a huge step up for him and he's doing his level best, cut him some slack people. His tenure has coincided with a slump in fortunes which makes it all the harder for him to deal with. For me both Flow and Stuart McCall deserve the time and opportunity to turn things round, and I think they will.

Given we only made two subbies, why not do a Holland and bring Gunnar on for the shoot out?
-
One man to blame for that tonight.
Didn't make the match tonight, who is to blame in your opinion and why?
-
No doubt we'd all have taken a draw before the match, but the way our lead was extinguished leaves a very bad taste. Great effort though and it should hopefully see us go on a good run now.

Guilt trip over finances rammed down our throats.
Jolly to Portugal.
Season ticket prices increased to maintain player budget.
McFadden, Anier and Hutchinson offski with no replacements.
Fleeced for Europa home game.
1 friendly during a month of training.
Losing over 210 minutes to amateurs.
Another £250k min thrown away with the consequences of Albion Rovers fresh in the mind.
Serious questions need to be asked of those responsible for running the club on and off the park.
It's remarkably tough to argue against any of that.
-
Well, anyone know?

Here's hoping we get a few more punters through the gate. A sub 4000 crowd would be a massive disappointment. On the field I'd be more than happy with 1-0 or 2-0 tonight, keeping a clean sheet is hugely important and any win without Stjarnan scoring would put us firmly in the driving seat.

Congratulations fella's (and ladies)
I can certainly have no complaints. Defended superbly, Hutchinson in particular. Bottom line is we failed to break you down, the manner of the goal is irrelevant, it stood and that's all that matters, swings in roundabouts as we are aware.
I'm still happy that we have finished 3rd considering where we have under McGhee and Brown. Also the league cup. We have European football to look forward too, hopefully we can both give a good account of ourselves, I'll tell you what though, Motherwell deserve a huge amount of credit, they never gave up over the course of the season, I think our own fans unrealistic expectations were too much for us to handle as the season went on. Your resources though is what makes it more credible for you, seriously folks, well done.
I hope it's as exciting as this next season, Armageddon they said when der h*n went bust, nonsense. Fantastic end to the season for the neutral.

Very kind words, much appreciated. Respect to the Dons faithful in the Richard Donald Stand who waited to applaud our lads off, showed real class.

Well said MJC, a brilliant post.. I cant describe how good that felt today, the celebration will live with me for a very long time. So proud of everyone at the club, incredible.
-
Hopefully if we don't win, or end up getting pumped tomorrow, we can recognise that despite not finishing 2nd it's been a sensational season, considering how many changes were made in pre-season.
Mon the 'Well!
Correct sir. Just about to head North, let's hope for the best and give the boys unstinting support for the full 90.
-
I would start Kerr and Anier and put Faddy and Zaine on the bench, giving some impact subs late in the game. This would also allow us to play in a way that give some defensive solidity whilst offering plenty going forward.
We don't need to be gung-ho from the off. We just need to win the match, and I reckon we need to quell their inevitable fast start and quieter their expectant support. If we can do that we'll grow into the contest and confidence will soar.
I'd play it cautious until the last 20 then go for it, just as they're running out of ideas and the crowd is getting a bit apprehensive.
1-0 Well with a late Vigurs thunderbolt.

Kerr - Hutchinson - McManus - Hammell
Reid
Ainsworth - Lasley - Vigurs - Sutton

I like the idea of Superward's team and formation. Even though we beat them 2-0 at Fir Park they had long spells of possession that night and used their extra man in midfield well, albeit without reward. We need to match up but still retain enough attacking verve.

I can only assume he's keeping it quiet until the extent of the injury is known
