I actually think we'll win this, most likely 2-1. Third place in the bag and putting the fear into the stuttering Sheep!

An excellent result and a real lift after Saturday's crushing disappointment. Looking like 3rd place is the least we'll earn which is fantastic, but 2nd is very much up for grabs. Great to see Vigurs in such good form now, he's really made a difference to our attacking play.

Very much a case of result over performance, although there were a number of positives. Gunnar was tremendous and made a few excellent and crucial saves for us, and generally looked more confident and competent than ever. Despite a slow start it was a great win and we defended well throughout. Going forward we are a real threat. I'd love to see us sign Ainsworth permanently as he's out of contract at Rotherham in the summer. More of the same on Saturday would do me fine.

Any win over Hearts is a welcome one, so a resounding ones hugely enjoyable. To pump them 4-1 without ever really getting out of second gear is very pleasing too. After the previous two performances we really needed that, and it was great to Faddy and Vigs run the show so convincingly.

Sub for the super sub, what an honour!

Hollis
Reid, Hutchinson, McManus, Hammell
Ainsworth, Lawson, Leitch, Vigurs
McFadden, Sutton
For me Lasley, Anier and Carswell need to be rested to let them recover from injury. Hopefully Lawson is good to go and this would be the perfect game to let Jack Leitch show what he can do. Lee Hollis to return as well.
Any win to get things back on track, 2-0 will do me fine.

Anier and Faddy played well together at Firhill, so that partnership is worth considering for Saturday. If Vigurs is fit I'd bring him back in too.
Thistle seem to be better away from home but I still think we'll win. 2-0.

If Gunnar is to be our number one for the remainder of this season then we have to support him. Yes he's nowhere near the ability of Ruddy or Randolph but we can do wonders for his confidence by vocally backing him. It can only help his game and might even secure us a few extra points.

My vote went to Carsy who put in a tremendous shift and had to cover 2 positions.

Got to be a place for Robert Maaskant at centre half?!!! Wee winger Paul Shepstone was another of Tommy's dodgy signings, worth considering in my view. Can I also offer Joni Lehtonen for inclusion in midfield?!!

After the Albion Rovers debacle and the pumping from Shellic, none of us expected six wins on the bounce. Great credit is due to McCall and the lads for what they've achieved. It's been a mixture of incisive attacking fitba and gutsy defensive discipline that's earned us those 18 points, four clean sheets too.
Well done lads.

Aye, he agreed to sign for us before having his head turned by a cub who had previously failed to pay his wages. I hope we stick it to the cunt on Saturday.
No mercy.
My sentiments exactly.

The full 90 minutes is on Alba at 5.30 on Saturday, another reason not to give them 24 quid.

If the game gets the go ahead it'd be same again for me, with the obvious exception of Nielsen in for Twardzik.
2-0 to us.

Going off at a tangent, our goals on Wednesday were our first in a New Year fixture for a decade! Back then a Clarky hat trick saw off Dundee United 3-1.

Some excellent displays today from Sutton, Lasley and Vigurs, but my vote went to the unplayable Lionel Ainsworth.

After the Albion Rovers disaster and the heavy defeats against the United kids and the rotten mob we were on a slippery slope and at one point looked like we were heading for a battle to stay in the top 6 all we asked as Well fans was for a bit of grit, determination and 100% effort. McCall and the players have done that and so much more and deserve massive credit for turning the season around. I would say this result today is better than the one against Thistle cause St Johnstone are a superior team to Partick and to destroy them the way we did shows how far we've come in the last month and now we are all buzzing for the rest of the season. Bring on Inverness !!
Excellently put, I concur with this 100%. From where we were after the Rovers and Celtic games, the players and management deserve huge credit for turning it round so convincingly. Today was a tremendous display of attacking fitba combined with some solid defence. On another day we'd have scored 7 or 8.

Outstanding today Peter, great day & loads to look forward to in 2014, good to see you as well.
And you mate. Nice hat.

Several excellent performers today, but my vote went to a reinvigorated Faddy. He was on the ball constantly and linked up well. On another day would've had a hat trick.
-
Apart from a ropy first ten minutes the lads were outstanding today. Five terrific goals and we could've had more. How great it was to see Faddy back to his best, here's hoping it continues for a long time to come.

One enforced change with Hutchy suspended, looks like big Mick could be back so that'll be fine. One more change for me, no need for an overly defensive set up so Vigurs in for Lawson. Don't expect it to be easy, and with Thistle still awaiting their first home win there's cause for concern. They don't score many goals so one would be enough for a draw. However I'll go for a 2-0 victory.

Magnificent result today, brilliant effort to keep a clean sheet and take the three points. Delighted.
Happy Owen Coyle Day!

Amazingly, it's been 17 years this very day since the Mighty Well pissed on Rangers 9 in a row party, thanks to an Owen Coyle double. The 200 odd Well fans in attendance must've had the time of their lives, watching thus supposed day of celebration turn flat. It's one game I wish I'd went to.
So, what are everyone's memories of that day?
