  1. The club need to make a big decision very soon, no way can he be allowed another transfer window. Plus, we now need a new goalkeeping coach, can't wait to see who the head of recruitment identifies for that role.
  2. Great to see the best centre half at the club ensuring a top 6 finish
  3. Had a season ticket every year since 1979-1980, I can honestly say that if he is in charge next year I will not be renewing my or my two sons season tickets. I can’t invest in a situation when it’s clear that the person in charge is out of his depth and can’t be trusted with any future decisions.
  4. Imagine if he gets near another transfer window? That should be enough for the board to make the decision they should have made many weeks ago. An egotistical delusional fraudster.
  5. If anyone could explain what we are currently trying to achieve tactics wise I would love to know.
  6. Not sure I’d allow those involved in the current recruitment process any more attempts, none of their signings will be attracting any bids in the near future
  7. Has Jim Gannon grown a beard and started shopping in All Saints?
  8. Glad we got the manager on an extended contract. We can all watch his attractive brand of football for many seasons to come
  9. Fair enough, I'm not from the modern world where popularity and notoriety is crucial. I accept that this might have a bearing on the younger support, ability however, will always prevail.
  10. I'm not dismissive, but it clouds peoples judgement, if SOD picked up the megaphone a week on Saturday how would that look? No doubt he would get more abuse despite the fact that he is incredibly consistent. My main point is that we champion the minimal contribution of a Norwegian journeyman but ignore the significant contribution of home grown players.
  11. You can access the GPS stats quite easily and I first posted many years ago. Interestingly you don't mention any of Solholms errors this season.
  12. GPS stats doesn't back the mobility stat up and you admit that his possession / distribution is poorer than Lamie. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a banger here, but people are replying to my posts accepting that Solholm is poorer than Lamie, but Solholm is great. Bizarre.
  13. And his defence splitting 40 yard diagonal pass against Ross County for Tony Watt in September, which ultimately won us a game that we were poor in
  14. I beg to differ, all of the folk I go to the games with fail to understand the cult status he has obtained due to his lack of ability. A bog standard centre half. But he can sing twist and Shout, deary me
  15. Sorry, again I'm not tying to be obtuse or flippant, in his 13 appearances this season could you remind me of when Sondre was outstanding? I his last 4 appearances (30% of his total appearances) he has been appalling and totally out of his depth. That included an appearance against a championship club
  16. So you agree that Lamie is dependable, but Sondre is poor. Carroll was the better centre half today and he is the out of favour left back. What an absolute farrago of nonsense our club is, directed by an egotistical fraudster who claims that we were the better team today.
  17. I'm not trying to be intentionally obtuse or flippant, if Solhom is "a typical old school defender", how does that make him a better option than Lamie? I don't want to quote stats, but if you review the points gained dependent on who was playing this season, Lamie is way ahead. That's before we look at goals and assists
  18. Sorry, having been to nearly every game this season I would love to know the games that Solhom was convincing? He's okay in the air, however has no presence or positional sense, absolutely no pace and his ability when in possession is not of the standard that is required in the SPFL. He surrendering of possession that ultimately led to the 2nd goal today sums up his limited ability.
  19. At our level, he's not. Your argument is that in limited game time, he's had a few good games, but made plenty of mistakes? I'm immediately drawn to our performances at home against Ross County, Hearts and away to Aberdeen where he performed at a level way above where Solholm has reached. My main argument is that if Lamie was known as Von Lamie we'd be releasing pin badges in honour to him.
  20. Over the last 12 months since he was removed from left back, or the left hand side of a 3, Lamie has been our best centre half. If only he had a cool social media presence and could start a song through a megaphone
  21. Not one to post often on here and I'm not trying to intentionally seek a response, but it Solholm, for arguments sake, had a Scottish surname, how would people view him? In a wider point I'm a bit concerned that we paid an undisclosed fee for him (even although he was moving to Scotland anyway due to his partner completing her masters at Glasgow University) and yet we let Lamie, who is a significantly more competent centre half, leave the club. Not sure our new scouting system has delivered any sellable assets
  22. Currently in Turkey, does anyone have any links even for the commentary?
  23. It's a well known fact that when he was at Eton, Rees-Mogg ran the Motherwell Supporters Club
