The view from the Main Stand can be very good but as it was built with the proceeds from the sale of Ian St John and Pat Quinn it has been boycotted by many generations of Motherwell fans since its construction in the early 1960's. The comfort and facilities are a tad ancient too. Nonetheless, a great result for your maiden trip to the Ark. Here's hoping you and your wife enjoyed the journey north and will return soon. Cover your remaining open end and Edgeley Park is very similar to Fir Park ........ ?

maybe, but they probably/traditionally have a larger fan base than Utd. They are a sleeping giant and should not be underestimated imho. Lets not forget we are an all too easy commute away from the Bigot Bros, and do suffer the weekly exodus more so than our SPL counterparts in Falkirk, Edinburgh and beyond.

watched the highlights on TV last night, and thought that was fantastic travelling support, (bit like it used to be every week). Well done folks. There seems to be a bond between young players and the support, seem to feed off each other. Lets hope it continues

It was our opening game of the season, having romped the 1st Div the season before. Davie Hay, (our 1st RC manager), decided his future lay in USA and we ended up with Ian Paisley, sorry Jock Wallace He emerged from the tunnell and saluted the Bun hordes .............. was great to come back from 0-2 down though and secure a draw tho in front of over 20,000 invading Buns
