  1. and will we therefore be given the seats below the tv gantry, like the Tims were ?
  2. Nothing on MFC Official site. Anyone got any info on ticket distribution for this game ?
  3. John Robertson, Gary Mackay, Scott Crabbe, Wayne Foster, Walter Kidd, Henry Smith, Jimmy Sandison, Craig Levein, Dave Macpherson, John Colquhun, Ian Baird.
  4. In an ideal world mate ................... but that world is a long way off. Some of us on here can mind being one of only a handful of 'Well fans surrounded by 25,000 Buns/Tims in our own ground, so things have improved. Bit to go yet though, it would appear.
  5. Ever stopped to imagine just how bad it would have been had these Peasants got their result that day ? No ? Me neither
  6. Or the Johnny Doyle version ............. It's my Attic and I'll Fry if I Want to
  7. Used to go watch the team train when I was back shift, even gave Cleland/Irvine/Rafferty/Carson a lift back to FP after training down the Ashy. Got quite pally with Marshall and One Willie Irvine after a supporters dinner. Marsh used to live near my work in Carrick Knowe and bumped into him a few times, and Willie Irvine invite me and my ex out for a few drinks with his wife back when I lived in Livi and he lived in Whitburn Cusack and Phsyco were regulars when I worked in the Rococo .... fun days
  8. Taking the whole strip into consideration, the 1949-1951 is my favourite, however I also like the top from 1913-1924.
  9. They also won a play-off against Dunfermline ?
  10. or booted out for financial irregularities
  11. Segregation I'd say .........................pity we can't turn the clock back over 30 years for a visit of the Jambo hordes. The East Stand is a covered terrace before the fence was built and OB create a 5 yard wide no mans land down the middle of the terracing. 40 OB or so are supported by half-a dozen police dogs on either side keeping hundreds of the long haired bovver boys apart, but when a goal is scored the gap is breached and all hell breaks loose. Ah the days
  12. so that leaves the Old Firm then. Founder members of the Scottish Football League in 1890 and have competed in the top flight ever since.
  13. Everton were founder members of the Football League and I seem to remember hearing on tv they have competed since 1888 without being relegated. + we have to remember that in the early years promotion and relegation was not automatic. One was voted up or down
  14. Everton, Arsenal, Rangers, Celtic, Elgin City, Peterhead to name but 6.
  15. I put an old MFC hat on e-bay, suggesting that it might be an appropriate disguise for a Tim with a 'Well end ticket. However, I did intimate that their squinty puss would no doubt give the game away anyway ..................... got plenty plaudits from fans of non Mauldeez teams
  16. sorted ........... should be with you now.
  17. 20yrs in top flight = 40pts + 6 for Cup win ................. 46pts for last 20 years. By my reckoning we'd be = with Aberdeen but above Hibs and R Shyte, but behind the Mauldeez and the Jambos.
  18. wee delay sorry, the card I use for paypal has expired, so I'll have to sort out a new card. please bare with me.
  19. Have we been punching above our weight ? I reckon we have, and still do. Punch
  20. Bring back terracing .............. never had such wankbags in them days.
  21. It's barely October, and we had the advantage of starting the league campaign running. Lets see where we are come April then I'll vote.
  22. 3pts .................. I'll take that. Gotta win ugly sometimes
  23. Got to win games like these if we have Top-6 aspirations.
