  1. Can't argree more, Yes Leeds will be a great fixture, it does not bring the same feeling to the groin as a home away fixture. England has their league and we have ours and I would rather spend my money on our game. Leeds are the only english team however I will spend money to watch v MFC. Excellent fixture and sure to bring in plenty of cash. But Dumbarton away will be better,
  2. Can we still call them scum and chant scum or are these laws protecting them? I hope we can still call them scum when they start the "Political" songs
  3. I am happy with Higdon coming in. I mind the goal he scored to beat us1-0 in the scottish so stuck a quid on him and St Mirredn to beat Celtic 1-0 and hey ho £100 to me. He will score goals for us no problem
  4. Also looking forward to this one. Was talking to a diehard Sons fan at work today and it is indeed a game as part of the Devlin deal. Motherwell agreed to compensate the Sons having signed one of their young prospects, Jordan Halsman going there on loan was also part of the deal as Annan were more than happy to extend his loan deal there. It seems Dumbarton has set up a good youth policy and Motherwell and Dumbarton have some agreement with players stepping up to a higher level and players going the other way for match games. Seems like a good wee set up
  5. There would be a few "Days of Thunder" on here if that was to happen

    Tom Boyd

Why bother about him? Most of us agree he is one of the last people we think about when thinking back to hero's of 91 even though he was our captain. He is history, we have the good guys around Fir Park. He was our captain who lifted the Scottish Cup and that's all he is remembered for down Fir Park road, because he feels closer to another club, does that give us the right to abuse him? I think not.
  7. One of the best that is. Next final will be the chance for anyone to better it. Well done
  8. Amazing guys, well done, a credit to our football club.
  9. That brought a tear to my eyes watching that video, not sure if it's the wine and the heartbreak of yesterday catching up on me but that was a sincere message from Mr Boyle. I always said he made a mistake handing the Cooper Stand to the OF but apart from that he ain't done much wrong as a chairman. It was a pleasure to drink with him in Odense and he certainly is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve. I hope we continue to have the success we have had under Mr Boyle. I salute you on your departure.
  10. Thats cool, we can all abuse lennon then identify the red and orange scarfs were the instigators, Well fans get to abuse lennon until the cup is won then blame it on the red and orange scarf
  11. In 91 there were a lot of Rangers & Celtic fans at Hampden supporting Motherwell, they live in Motherwell or the surrounding area and got caught up in the hype and came out to support their local team as it was against Dundee United. That to me is fine. 20 years on we face Celtic so obvious that they fans who have a leaning to them won't be buying a ticket to support Motherwell. The Rangers fans who have I hope they wear claret and amber and keep the secretarian stuff under wraps, it is not welcome within the Motherwell family.
  12. Or to prevent the letter writers complaining even more about season ticket holder ratio when they are already getting more than half. I really hope this is true, C'mon Ye Well
  13. Would the wee whore accept 3 points on sunday as payment?
  14. Made my night, can't say I will miss the derby again now we had a taste more of it this season, spark gone for me so excellent they struggle in the lower leagues while we are The Pride Of Lanarkshire..
  15. I will be wearing mine
  16. Only giving advice so people are not dissappointed with their day out, as for you my friend.
  17. agree totally with that, give them enough rope.
  18. Don't buy a ticket for the B sections as that is sure to be standing the full game and you will get no joy asking guys to sit down, if you want sitting even the A sections family stand will be all on their feet, if you want seating to watch the game buy the £35 tickets in the BT stand.
  19. Thats because it's true
  20. I hope they give a bit of notice for the sale, I'm offf on holiday for a week and wouldn't like to miss the season ticket sale of 20 each
  21. Got a lot of that stuff myself. The back page of Sports Mail looks good, Kirkie with the cup and the headline at the bottom would just be the job again 20 years later "Celtic in crisis"
