then we beat them 1-0 and progress, excellent! more likely we would get games against teams like Sheffield united, Millwall etc I'm talking all the leagues, huge pot of teams away days too Torquay, newport, bray etc, league cup just is the Scottish cup but.. diddy it just seems sort of pointless and the prize fund for winning it will be lucky to cover the petrol money for the bus

would! just purley down to the possible financial side of it, fact is we probably lose money competing in the league cup and always get humped out of it anyway

Don't see why they need to redistribute to the lower league clubs, the problems at the top isn't it? if the SPL clubs are even skinter they will be even less likely to compete and make money and the prize fund will be reduced because no one will want to watch a bunch of part-time SPL clubs on the TV, Scottish football is basically in recession What they should do is invite the 32 biggest clubs(decided by crowds) split them into two leagues and have play-offs between the two and then form another league under that with the rest and they can play off with highland league etc for promotion places Do away with the diddy league cup all together and talk the english, welsh etc into getting rid of their diddy cups and form into a UK super cup sure that would actually be plausable, far more plausible than celtic/rangers fucking off south anyway! in other words just do something really obvious and different or it'll just be the same pish anyway

Vitesse qualified for Europe!? impressive, sure they are newly promoted this season. Swansea would be the worst if they pumped us.. but the best if we somehow sneaked through. Belgium would be good, could pay our good mate the goal machine a visit!

Lawson said one of the main reasons for his move was the manager... makes me think McCall was/is planning to be here next season unless a really good offer comes in! Sheffield united have an average attendance of around 16-18k a think so pretty big club in those terms but enough to lure him away from Motherwell? Motherwell he has a pretty secure job, few bad results in England and you know what they're like... He'd have to move his family, pretty sure he's children at school etc Scotland job may be effected? Loads of things to consider, sure he's no short of a few bob already so It would need to be a pretty big offer to tear him away, think he will hold out for the Rangers job

Saunders hasn't proven to be reliable and the club can't afford to pay someone wages/medical costs if his injuries come back again + he is perhaps not the same player.. injuries have lasting effects , kerr has had some really good games and some not so good, reminds me a bit like hutch until he got a run in the team and built up a partnership with the rest of the back 4
