Theres my pics for the day. Since before i even moved to motherwell i used to think to myself that you wouldn't know motherwell had a spl club with all the rangers and celtic tops floating about. There's no sign of mfc anywhere in the town and it done my head in quite a bit like Anyway the last few weeks up the street and around the town motherwell shirts have outnumbered old firm shirts. Iv seen cars and houses flying well flags in east kilbride,wishaw,newmains and even barrhead. Yesterday was the icing on the cake. seeing all them kids with there well tops on running about the shops trying to find pictures of players for there competition. Seeing all the shops done up and well fans strutting about there town centre looking at all the displays. The people of this town and further afield are proud of there football club but its up to the club to exploit that pride in bring these people through the turnstiles. Yesterday for once mfc wasn't tucked away in there corner of motherwell being so quiet nobody give a shite about them, They were in the town centre as proud as could be. In the faces of old firm fans and saying, this is our town.

I got told today that there is definitely not going to be general sale. There are a few thousand more names in the ballot than tickets. I know most of you will choose not to believe me as usual but iv not been wrong once yet with my ticket information . This time however i really do hope my source is wrong for the sake of fellow well fans but i doubt it.

I bought 10 motherwell times for the posters and slammed them up in all my windows along with a claret and amber saltire. Would be nice to see more flats/houses doing the same. There's a cup final day up Brandon parade on Saturday coming. face painting, bouncy castle, Competitions like find the player etc. I hope nobody's posted this already and iv missed it I hope the club get behind this as its a great chance for the club to use there marketing skills saturday.

I think every club should give something back to the fans at the end of the season. They have used and abused us all season so the least we deserve is the last game for a five spot or something. They should have a motherwell supporters night where they have entertainment on the pitch before the game and at half time. Face painting etc for the little ones and motherwell players of old meeting fans and having photos taken or something. That's what i think anyway.

Nice to see all the motherwell posters up the street today. I would love the one on the wimpy window for myself. I didn't notice any posters in Wilkinson's window though.

I dont know why some are making a big fuss over us standing all game. Look at old trafford last night. Look at the Liverpool kop during big games. They are just examples but you will find standing is quite normal at big games for most football fans regardless of who they support. Surly nobody have bought tickets for the singing sections and expect to sit
