I had to leave early at the st mirren game (half time) and as they let me out there was a old man stood there quite upset. I asked him if he was OK and he said "the bus was late and now they wont let me in" he said "iv been following motherwell for 40 years through thick and thin all over Europe" He also had a season ticket and they still would have none of it after i pointed all this out to them. Anyway me and the old boy walked around the other side to the main stand at the gates near the ticket office and called some official looking bloke over. He wasn't Happy and told the old chap to go back to the east stand and he will sort it out for him. Do the stewards get any sort of training? do they make rules up as they go along? If that's how they treat the faithful how are the club supposed to attract new people to fir park? PS. totally unrelated but i once knew a lad who was a steward at fir park. He hated motherwell fc and was a loyalest rangers fan in the extreme. I used to live near him and he would boast about how he would make motherwell fans look like to fools they are and get payed for it. he would say most of the stewards were rangers fans.

Wales mun en it boyo. in footballing terms its motherwell for me all the way. Us welsh dont have much love for the national football team even though we had 70,000 + at a lot of our home games in the late 90s (made us the best supported nation in Europe.i bet you didn't know that did you) everyone has given up these days. The last home game against England though (the one where we booed god save the queen louder than you) there were 400,000 requests for tickets. So in football for me its motherwell. A lot of the people are sceptics of the idea that the crowd has an affect on the players. To me its obvious it does. The players aren't playing with confidence at the mo and there heads have dropped. Yes they get payed to play and should perform no matter but it isn't happening is it? Imagine the east stand full and everyone is singing and willing the players on. Imagine the affect it will have on the players. Its time for us to play a part, its time for us to get behind them, its time for us to create an atmosphere that they want to play in, Its time for us to play our part. other than craigan (again) they played well. Every game against these lot luck is needed but it never seems to come. On the other hand rangers seem to get the bounce of the ball and a little luck. I think we deserved a win there today. For Christ sake though drop craigan. Iv never seen anyone give the ball away more in my life.

Please don't take offence by this lads. If your looking for that spark you once had for motherwell why don't you have a brake for a while from anything motherwell. Come on the forum like but avoid the club chat section. Hopefully a wee brake for you will reignite that spark you once had. your downer attitudes could well have a negative affect on the board. People don't want to read posts saying you cant get up for games because one reason or another. It gets me down when I'm reading them and I'm sure it has the same affect on other members. We got a cup semi tomorrow with every chance of beating the filth. Rangers are nothing special. Theres been far far lesser teams than motherwell beating far far stronger teams than that rangers pish.

motherwell are taking 16.6% of the population to the semi tomorrow. aberdeen are taking 12,000 and that is 5.6% of there population. imagine motherwell had 212,000 people and we were taking 16.6% of the population. That would be 33,000 people .

Im all for respecting everyone's opinion but can all you depressing lot keep your downer opinions to yourselves just for the weekend. We got a cup semi to get up for here. No matter how disillusioned you are with the club or scottish football the club you claim to support needs you this weekend to play your part (a very important part i may add) in giving the players a lift, encouraging them to play out of there skins. If the supporters have no belief in the players then whats the fucking point en it.

this is the first site i found. they even have there own community centre/Leisure Complex http://www.mfcic.co.uk/ Obviously we dont have thee cash but it shows what could be done and how little they do at fir park. Yes they do wee bits and bobs but again they rely on word of mouth or the Internet. Not all potential motherwell fans will be regular visitors to the website.

get involved with shops like asda or the brandon parade. get Large posters (like iv said before) and get them up everywhere. Get into the community and let folk know this is there town. Reach out to the whole town and county. There's hundreds they could do instead of hiding in there little corner of motherwell. Fight to become the towns club instead of just a shy club in the town.

I know some will say, here he goes again bla bla bla but i was up at my ex mrs house yesterday and her mam and dad were there with her wee brother. Her dad invited me to a meal Sunday night and i said i don't know if i will make it because of the game. He said "who are they playing son" (her family have never been big well fans but are the type to come out of the wood work for big games) Anyway i told them about the semi and he hadn't a clue about the game ;;I I got a call of the ex last night asking me if i want to go to the game with them as her dads gone and bought tickets for the game What I'm saying is folks, how many other part time motherwell fans dont even know about the game Sunday? Do motherwell rely to much on word of mouth and the Internet? The fact is that there are people out there willing to spend there cash and back the team on big occasions, so shouldn't the club be targeting them insted of being content on what they got? are the club even putting on buses for the game?

I bet that didn't cost more than £20m to knock up. Probably be more like £60m over here. Nice stadium by the way
