Motherwell Chief Executive Leeann Dempster explains events behind today's abandoned match with Dundee United.
It is great of Leeann to go on camera and explain what went wrong so soon after the event. She obviously has a lot on at the moment with this, dealing with contract extentions and apparently going shopping with Craig Levein for terrible sunglasses.

He got two positions wrong. Hateley at RB and Ramsden at CB. That equates to getting the team 100% wrong for me.
I do not believe you understand what 100% means. Two mistakes out of eleven, is 18.19% wrong.
So, if you believe McCall got the team 100% wrong, then one can only assume you are pretty poor at arithmetic. Or, you really believe players like Randolph should not have started, or, should have been played in another position, in which case you have went full retard. Never go full retard.

Green is a much smarter man than many give him credit for. Many of the things he comes out with might come across stupid and out-right wrong, but they are only said to get the fans behind him. He says things like they will charge £1 for tickets against SPL teams, knowing fine well it could NEVER work, but knowing the fans love hearing that sort of shite. Also all this SFA are bigots nonesence, he his well aware the SFA are just doing their job, but the fans are lapping it up like fools.
These comments are made I am sure to rile up our fans. Remind us our club were ready to defend Rangers cheating if it wasn't for us, get our backs up about this fact. He is at it. But he will also want these comments to paint a picture of him being the good guy, which he will need to do before his next scripted out burst at the SFA.

And yes, it was a mighty fine 'tache. Sadly, it is so associated with him it has ruined that 'tache for us all of us. Possibly the worst thing he ever did really.

If we lose 5-1 tonight I'd be chuffed just to see my team go to Spain and score away against a La Liga team that beat the La Liga Champions at the same ground last season.
Come kick off I'll be screaming for us to go forward right enough.

I can't see it. I have a friend who is currently out of work after leaving royal mail and is struggling to find something, was going to forward it to him.

Vaguely remember hearing we'd be allowed to bring in one player up to the Wednesday night, dunno if that's actually true though.
yeah I believe I read it was 24 hours before KO we would have to declare a new player. Which would mean we'd need to be signing him about 5pm tomorrow if we want to get the paperwork done and faxed off to UEFA in plenty of time.

Maybe McCall's just trying to help him to get a club sorted as any who have been showing interest may be pushed into making him an offer if they think he may be about to sign for someone else.
So McCall setting up loads of Motherwell fans for a fall just to do the job the Faddy's agent will be getting paid through the nose to do. Would not be happy about that at all.

Presumably too UEFA will be investigating Dundee United as a result of their fans pelting their Russian guests with coins from above.
It's all a matter of it making it into the offical report. You cannot throw anything at the football. And to be honest the paper was the worst thing to do, a coin can be missed by a match offical but big balled bits of paper were so obvious, it was impossible not to see it.
I just don't believe anyone who done it at Utd or our game are real fans of the club. I just hope it doesn't have an impact of the boys in the east stand through heavier policing of them because they do a bang up job.

Whilst i do agree it was idiotic, i think an FBO for throwing scrunched up paper is ott and not what the sanction was designed for.
Agree with your sentiment though that we cant afford to let the behaviour of idiots bring fines etc on us.
FBO are pretty horrific actually and maybe a bit OTT, but they should be banned for a few years from Fir Park, we were never getting away with it once they started throwing them directly at the players.
If UEFA hit us with a £10k fine we would have no right to protest, but that sort of money could be the difference between getting midfield cover or not.
Plus I feel for the boys who went to all that trouble to have such a quality display, but club might just think twice now before allowing it again if we are hit with sanctions.

Motherwell face an investigation after streamer paper was thrown on to the field during their Champions League clash with Panathinaikos last week. Uefa have confirmed that a delegate at the match recorded the alleged missile-throwing in his match report
If we get any sort of fine I hope Motherwell find and request football banning orders for those responceable.
With money so tight the now we do not need ideots like this at our games setting our club back.
If you are enough to go to the football, you should know you cannot through ANYTHING at the players. The worst thing was the ones I seen doing it were grown men. Just get them banned from Fir Park, we can do without them putting the club out of pocket so they can act like fucking children.

There are at least 3 of us, on the 2am into Athens on Tues/Wed, we plan to get bus only 5 Euro each, you guys on the BA flight from Heathrow I presume, we are on the 17:30 from Edinburgh down to Heathrow
Thats the one, flys out at 20.35 I believe from Heathrow.
We are just getting the megabus down because it was only £30 each and once you've taken a bus to Odense and back the Glasgow to London mega is a short wee trip.
Will see you down there then, we'll no doubt be at the bar for one or two before the flight

Anyone arriving on the 2am flight Tues Morning thats staying in the Crown Plazza or close by that facies a taxi share.
There is 2 of us.
We are getting the same timed flight that arrives on Wednesday at 2am. It is like 96 euros or something to get a taxi to and from the hotel or 50 euro for just the one way. But, I've noticed there is a shuttle bus running into the city 24/7 that is only 3,40 euro so we'll just be getting that.

Yeah, I would imagine I would be getting premium seats for the wee bit extra. No point going a £300 trip only to sit in a restricted view when for another £16 you can get a much better seat.

Don't really care. He makes me think of that guy that shows up for a night out and stands in a corner with their arms folded and complains it was a shite night when everyone else had a great night. You just think, if we never see him again it would be a relief.

Being realistic, I reckon even the most optimistic happy clapping Motherwell fan knows deep down that we are not going to get past Panathinaikos because they are on a different level to us altogether, so it's damage limitation and nothing else here.
What we have to hope for is that we can keep the score line down to something respectable and hope the confidence isn't sapped out of our players by the impending hammering we're going to get over the two legs.
I hope for your families sake you die in your sleep and sooner rather than later. Living with you must be a real fucking drain on anyones mental health.
I'll not be suprised if they pump us. But, I have booked to go to Athens and I know if we take chances, and it's a big if, we could suprise a lot of people. How many Odense fans who seen Real Madrid beat their team in Denmark do you think honestly expected to go to Madrid and see Real get put out? They put a bit of faith in their team and seen them have their moment in the sun. I hope all of us in Anthens get that feeling.

Yeah, but if we bring in more defenders we can move Hately into the midfield because you know that's where he think he belongs

Ojamaa has not been scoring this season, but he has been creating, which is what he was brought in to do. He has constantly been one of our best players on the park. With a season and a half left on his contract he cannot be sold for £160,000 surely? Not with what is up for grabs this season for 2nd place. If someone wants Ojamaa I think we should be asking for £500,000 +
