I am referring specifically to how we set ourselves up and play against the Old Firm not other teams.
Nothing entertaining about passing the ball about without gaining any territory or any real goal threat, continually giving the ball away and getting pumped time after time against the Old Firm

Get and agree with what you guys are saying but is there not an argument for modifying the way that we play a few times in a season just against the Old Firm?
If it works and we get a result then fair enough. Doesn't mean that we have to change our entire way of playing all the time.
The Tippy tappy stuff doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere against them.

I know I will get shot down by some for saying this but I'd start him against Aberdeen. Give him a chance and give Higdon someone to play off and someone to try and get on the end of countless crosses we put across the face of goal. Let's face it he couldn't do any less than Murph has in the last two games.
Good shout mate, some of the crosses that Humphrey & Daley were putting in were crying out for someone at the back post to tap them in.

We'll it was exciting if nothing else, at times we were rank rotten and at other times we were excellent, much better than Saturday anyway. Took Lasley IMHO to get them moving after a very worrying first 20 mins.
Could have been 7 - 6 in normal time, thank fuck that Randolph was in top form saved our, or more directly our woeful central defence arses. Lost count of how many one on ones that he had to contend with when he was left exposed time after time. Defensively we are an absolute shambles at times.
Oh and agree with others, honest to fuck get off of Higdons back, he won lots in the air, held the ball up well and had some great touches despite getting fouled to fuck most of the game, having no support and getting loads of poor poor high balls pumped up to him.
Now Murphy and Jennings what the fuck are they both all about at the moment.
Feel that other teams have sussed us out a bit after our excellent start to the season.
McHugh was onsite, by the way.

Complete and utter shite today, whole team back to front and I include the management team as well should be fucking ashamed of that gutless pish today, nobody gets anywhere near to pass marks totally inept. Just so so disappointing given the start that we have made to the season and some of the excellent football that we have been playing.
BUT, fuck it, apart from that pish today and against the old firm we've had an excellent start to the season so fuck it, it's in the past now onwards and upwards and let's stop the rot and set about the Hibs shite on Tuesday.

Thought that most of the boys played ok today and tried hard tbh, but tactics theirs and especially our fucked us up.
It was way too easy for Rangers, when we have the ball they let us pass it about a bit without gaining any real territory, press us then we inevitably give the ball away or they win it and with the real pace that they have up front their counter attacks cut us in two time and time again. It also helps that you have strikers that are able to put the ball away.
Steve Davis bosses every game against us, really good player but is given way too much space, had Law in his back pocket for most of the game.
Was really optimistic about today, will I never fucking learn.

One of Gunning's worst performances was at Tannadice IIRC. The 4-0 game. Not disappointed even a wee bit he has opted for Tayside.
A wee bit disappointed to be honest as a decent left footed player is never a bad idea for a bit of balance in a team. I thought the he was decent up to the 0-5 Rangers game where he was absolutely shocking and looked like he didn't really give a fuck.

I don't believe I handed out any insults, questioned anyone's intelligence or indicated anyone was a pleb, but feel free to point out where I did and I'll happily apologize.
Maybe you've been in the US too long but saying things like "Introducing the realities of our financial situation" really gets on my fucking tits. What, do you think that we are all thick and don't appreciate that we would have, relatively speaking, an absolute pittance to spend on any new stadium that we might possibly ever go to. Doesn't mean that we can't look around for good ideas and just point out good examples of stadium design FFS.
I only had the bare face cheek of posting a link to Brighton's new stadium and you feel the need to come on and inform me that it cost a fortune. I fucking know that believe it or not, but it is a smart stadium. Can we just agree on that and end this shite. Fucking hell, and you take offence at me calling you pedantic.

There is if it makes some fans think that moving to Ravenscraig (or wherever) would mean moving into a shiny new stadium like that. When, in reality, we'd be looking at the Skoda end of the market.
Whatever we get we can call it the Pedant Stadium in honour of you.

That stadium cost 105 million to build. We'd be struggling to afford one tenth of that.

They are a team in turmoil right enough, but they still have some good players so it wouldn't be the biggest surprise ever if they managed to get something on Sunday.

Old cliché for a striker but all he hopefully needs is a goal or two to get his confidence up.

Here is a stat for you. Last time we played Killie at Rugby Park we were scudded 3-1 going on 7-1. This time we more than matched them with what you could say is a weaker squad.
Also last time we played ICT we were beaten 3-0 and again it could have been 5 or 6. This time we soundly beat them.
Get a fucking grip you lot.
Agree with what you are saying, but need to bear in mind that both Kille and ICT have lost arguably their best players of last season as well.

Time to give the wee man a proper go in the team, shows a lot of the same attributes as skippy / dougie small, physically very strong and an eye for a goal.
