Interesting...similar profile in many ways. Been at Grimsby 7 years, 299 games, player of year twice, also winning experience in Wembley play off final.Out of contract June. Age 28. Grimsby for 7 years doesn't sound exciting but then neither did Hartlepool!! Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Such a shame what happened contract wise afterwards....still good to see Ally has indicated via facebook he is coming over for the final. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Best post for a long time. Sheer common sense Some folks just like complaining even when there is nowt to complain about. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -

Fisher scores for Yeovil and this is the real humdinger Theo Robinson nets a hat trick for Southend Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Very poignant reading that, met him once behind the scenes and he was more than happy to get a pic with my son. Real gent and under rated player. RIP Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

And you have supporters and directors who seem to accept horrendous spankings in European games Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -
Agree re Carson, having rightly turned down one offer, if an anywhere decent offer comes in the club I am sure will let him move on otherwise we compromise our 'provide you with a platform, and will be fair' pitch to potential transfer targets. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Likewise, one friend is coming back from New York and another from Cape Town, If it has to be 13000 we will sell them, but as others have said no mhanks above us this time Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -
Main, but no failures. Aldred close and really pleased for Grimshaw, great shift Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

The article is hugely complimentary to Robbo, the team, and the club, including also our social media output and is more indepth than the tabloids. Mind you its usually the Old Firm that get compliant media to print 'unsettling' stories. For what its worth I don't think this is that, and won't cause any issue at all. FWIW Robbo is highly thought of at Adeen and if he kicks us on again next season it is inevitable that bigger clubs will circle. That said the foundations of the club are being improved such that we will be in a much better place going forward whoever is in charge. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -
Excellent news, and a vote of confidence from these players in both the club and in playing under Robbo. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

I reckon a number of factors are affecting the crowd for Saturday. A 3rd trip to Hampden is expensive for some folks as more family members tend to come that don't make all games (costin me a fortune!!!) Being on council tele as well as Sky so more accessible to more people and a shit ko time won't help Some may decide to keep their money for a potential final Our form is not currently as good. It's not dreadful but I don't detect the same optimism and excitement around the place that there was before the last semi. Guesswork I know. Our group are going with the same numbers as previously, but am really disappointed we are not taking more, especially as we won't be putting up with the old firm scum around the place. I am sure all there will make plenty noise for the lads but it will be disappointing for the team to come out to so many empty seats in our end. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -

I wonder whether the issue around these stats is the appearance of Tanner or not, genuinely don't know the answer but my feeling is he is the key to our potency regardless of any Main, Bowman, Ciftci combination Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -
I struggled with this at first but its Paul Keegan......never scored I believe??? Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Agreed the odds are stacked against but I just have a hunch this time that 11th will go down, and especially if they finish 2nd Livi will have a good chance. Time will tell but you are right at the very least the play off final should be one game at a neutral venue. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Oh dear I was at that game, (circa 1979/80?) I think Clyde were a division below us as well. Can't recall too much about it other than we wrongly felt we would sail through and the rather bulky Clyde goallie had the last laugh on those who were giving him a hard time. Harsh and I suspect tongue in cheek especially after that tackle on Sinclair recently Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Don't fall into the trap championship teams have done and under estimate Livi. Incredible job being done there. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Quickest sending off of a Well player I have ever seen. 1st minute v Thistle in cup. We held on for 0-0 and won the replay 1-0 with a late (and very rare) Willie Watson goal Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

If I remember correctly scored a great injury time 3-2 winner v Hearts at Cooper end cutting inside from left wing? Or is my aged brain playing tricks again Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Recent history suggests he would start with Grimshaw and bring Bigi on about 65 mins. He caught Aberdeen out at Pittodrie with a change of formation so I don't think it certain he will go 3-5-2. May depend on fitness of Dunne, Campbell, Rose as to what formation he starts with. Tanner is a huge miss. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -

Agreed however Hibs especially could have more coverage.....increasingly i find myself not even listening when it wasnt that long ago you rushed back to your car to get a comprehensive post match round up from all the games. The quality of the pundits and their analysis is poor. Especially Millar and Bonner Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk -
I watched 2nd half of their game v Derby and tbh when he came on he looked a bit lost and out of sorts. However any player stepping up a level can take time to adjust especially when his team is off form. In addition he has gone from being 'the main man' to a bit part player which may well be affecting him. Unless you are a regular Preston watcher it is difficult to ascertain accurately just how he is doing based on stats or goal highlight shows. Misfiring strikers can come good (Higdon anyone?). Hope he comes through this tough spell and he doesn't end up at Ipox. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Indeed .. not many of our recent goals have been things of beauty, but then again McHughs and Campbells were no bad eh? but did our opposition decide to chuck a few in the net or.... maybe they were under a wee bit of pressure from us that has led to their mistakes...just askin? Agree re Ciftci contribution wise, (he is not 'fat') was prepared to give him benefit of doubt but to my mind it hasn't worked out. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
