I take it he is a free agent at the moment then and not a potential loan signing? Had a wee look about and the 3 times he played for standard leige was as a left back but before that he was left mid so hopefully if he joins he will also provide cover for Hammell.

Collet looks like he could be an excellent player for us. Moutinho is not a player I rate very highly, very similar to Gow so I really hope McCall can find him out. Navarro I'm sure is a good young defender but as other people have said all our efforts should be towards developing what we have. In the next season or so we should be working towards something along the line of: Hateley---Saunders---Hutchinson---Page I think that the remainder of this season should be focused on staying in the SPL and giving guys like these as much game time as possible. Time to really focus on building for our future not helping other teams youngsters get game time experience!

My boss is a massive toon fan and thinks Airey would be amazing for Motherwell. Very highly thought of down there and he seems to think he has scored over 8 goals so far this season. Says he is also a very competent right back which could explain McCalls thinkin.

Totally agree. Never seen anything to suggest that McHugh is gonna be a player, think Casagolda at least deserves a few 20 minute odd sub appearances to show what he can offer.

I am tending to be of the same opinion now, I like Fitzy cause he seems like a decent lad and usually puts in a shift but he looked like a bit of a weak link yesterday. If things are as tight as they seem I would possibly look to move Fitzy on but will not be disappointed if he does get his contract extended, good squad player.

A bit of competition for the jersey would be good but I thought Hammell had a decent game yesterday. Went for Murphy for my MOTM thought his all round play especially his creative spark was a class above, delighted to see him and Sutton together up front. Best all round display I've seen from Motherwell in a while.

I was sitting at my desk with a massive cheeser on my face while reading that, thank fuk he's away. Look forward to seeing who McCall brings in and what position. Personally I think a left sided midfielder should be priority to allow Murphy to go back up top where he should be.

Saunders, Page and Hutchison??? If we get (best case scenario) 150-200k just now for Reynolds, that would free up a wage and could result in possibly 2 new players. With Blackman left/set to leave thats another wage freed up and hopefully gow GsTF that means that we could possibly have 4 new faces at Fir Park. If they players are to leave I would like to see a decent left midfielder and a backup striker come in. Possible team (not too bad): - -----------------Randolph---------------- Hateley---Craigan----Saunders---Hammell Humphrey---Jennings---Lasley---Fitzpatrick --------------Suttton--Murphy------------ I'm pretty sure that team with a few new faces is good anough to at least keep us up if McCall can install a bit of team spirit.

I trust McCall will assess all the players he has available and make his own judgement on who he wants and who he doesn't. My hope is that he puts his own mark on the team be it players out/in, different players getting starts or new formations.

I can appreciete that Billy Reid has done a good job for accies but I still hate him and his filthy team. One of the funniest things I've ever seen was when Billy Reid broke that dug out thing at Douglas Park when they scored against us, I'll never forget it.

Agreed, and I would say it would result in court action in some instances. Brown, Bawbag agent and Aberdeen should at least have made sure they were telling the same story before going to the press.

Gow has technique and vision which he uses to limited effect. He gives the ball away much more than doing anything useful. Obviosly I like to watch players with good technique and vision but when it is not applied properly and mixed with laziness it leads to major frustration.
