  1. BBC has the attendance as 5,990 - still decent and a bit more realistic than the 8,000 mentioned elsewhere
  2. He's ok to sit in the studio however i'm 99% certain that's he not allowed in the dugout which is where Sky showed him with about ten minutes to go. Anyone know where i can report this heinous offence. Don't suppose the punishment for this is the result getting voided and a 3-0 win awarded to the Well??
  3. So Puma gear next season then - happy days they usually put not bad stuff together
  4. That'll be why the walk way at the back of the East Stand is always covered in pish then

I'm a happy clapper - Shivute must stay
  6. I for one believe it - i mean Levein is on £400k with the national team so of course Broonie would demand £800k to manage us.
  7. I remember the home game after the CIS semi when Kaiser came over to take a throw in beside the East Stand. The whole section stood and started singing "kaiser,kaiser....", i think that summed up how well liked the guy was by the motherwell support. He seemed to be genuinely appreciative of the gesture
  8. It's alright i've just been told by a rangers fan that the offside decision balances against other decisions in the game because our goal shouldn't have been a free kick and Boyd should have had a penalty.
  9. I used to have these - probably sold off to finance 55 Casualwear by now
  10. The new Liverpool guy Aquilani played for italy under 21s a few years back. Motta fae roma who was in the last italy squad also played in that game
  11. Was thinking this the other day when the new "international rule" came in - i really rate him as a sitting midfielder and plays with a maturity older than his age. I know he was born abroad but does anyone know if he happened to go to school in scotland for about 5 years when his old man played for Old Scum Blue??
  12. Paul Gormley to Celtic from us according to the Times - that been mentioned yet? Is that a potentially big loss?
  13. I think the general idea for these sorts of deals is so that clubs can put large transfer fees in the years when they haven't performed as well financially. i.e. the transfer is agreed now but the first of year of it is a "loan". This means that WBA won't have to put the fee in this years accounts (which would probably be ok as they were in the EPL) but instead show it in next years when they are more likely to have performed less well in the Championship. I think they did something similar with Curtis Davies to Villa a couple of years back.
  14. I would like to thank the wee chiefs who sat at the back row of the second from end section of the east stand last season for deciding to sit somewhere else today. This allowed the larky boys to reclaim their seats from about the ten years before.
  15. For any Llanelli fans looking to take in a Motherwell game - the Llanelli Scarlets take on Glasgow at Firhill the same weekend we play Rangers at Fir Park. The rugby is usually on a friday night
  16. I'm sure Dunfermline did something along these lines when they ripped up their pitch a few years ago. I can't remember the exact details of what they did but it was something like the pitch was split up into a grid and each reference was sold as a raffle ticket. The penalty areas and centre circle are gold grid references (sold for £100 or £50), the remaining final thirds of each half are silver references(£10) and the middle of the park are bronze references (£5). At each home game of the season a reference from each area is picked out for a prize. so for the cost of one ticket one reference gets 18 or so chances to win. prizes would be like eg gold reference - corp hospitality silver - free match tix bronze - club shop vouchers.
