Tain Thistle were in FM one year
Had a few mates in it who are even worse than me

Thats something that gets to me,
Some of us cant afford to go to every away game, or we cant make it, or some people (like busta nutt) just cant be bothered.
Why do we not get classified as die hards?.
I still go to every home game, cup games and european games

They no doubt sent real proffesionals to eye up the guy and make sure he was as good as thought. Throw in that afew of the FM staff have went on to be employed as acctual scouts means there's some real knowledge there, not some vague pondering on a football forum.
My friend at work years ago when he still lived up north was a scout for footie man for the highland league, he showed me his contract i think ive got a copy on my cpu. They send multiple people to scout the same things and they take the best of what people has said and choose the stats from their.
This year humph is mega fast! but pish at everything else. so we know it's realistic!

I'd agree with your summary Johnstone.
As much as it pains me to say it, he'll come up against 2 teams that regularly hold their own at least half the time with some of the biggest teams in Europe.
8 times a season he'll play in 20,000+ capacity stadiums, (4 of which will be 50,000+)
He'll get more media exposure even if our and Rotherham's average attendances are much the same.
Any rated players that have left us have went to a higher level than league 2.
the SPL is the perfect step between league 1 and championship

The link with McCall, Bradford and Law might sway this in our favour. Probably thinking that playing for Motherwell and doing well will give him much more media attention and a potentially bigger move.
Mind you I could be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.

Unless the boy really loved working with McCall then he would only move up here to get a move to either the old firm or to a Championship team.

Just seen on the SPL news tab on SSN that - Rotherham midfielder Nicky Law is considering a contract offer from Motherwell.
He is a 22 year old midfielder and is out of contract in the summer so could be a move for the summer window. Seems to stack up as previously played under SMC at Bradford.
I'll tell you something, if we pull that off what a signing that would be!

I thought he played ok, he kinda drifted in and out of the game but there was a point in the second half where he skinned 3 hibs players with one move at the outside of the box

Slighlty harsh no? I was at Hibs at the weekend and will be at Hampden on Sunday. Being a skint student I cannot afford 3 games a week plus traveling. Does that make me a lesser fan?
Same. i dont go to a lot of away games anyway. Scottish football is bad enough without me wasting more money i dont have
