Im not sure they do packages like that, i know their's 15 of us going to see Motherwell v Hamilton but i dont know about that.
If you were picking a stand i would pick the main stand. The east stand is fine but the main stand would be best for atmosphere if he wants to go and enjoy the game.
If he goes to see the Celtic game they do get a part of the main stand so not all the seats are available for it

we've heard this all before! wont be long until our first team is our u19s
Might not be that bad wee Steven Howarth is meant to be a good player

I suppose the bottom line here is that we (Scottish Football) are just at the point we knew was coming. None of the super efficient billy wizz marketing types can identify the killer plan.
We are now so severely restricted by our previous greed and bad decision making that we are unable to make a good decision now - because it will be the end.
In essence to survive financially we need to kill the game as a spectacle.
For the game to flourish we'd need to die financially.
Sky will be so proud
What a world we live in where to stay alive, we have to play football soooo bad that it will drive away all the fans just to keep money to keep us afloat
I LOVE THE SPL!

Aye, he's a Prick apparently
<_>

To me it seems obvious that the club and we the fans are at complete polar opposites on the 10 team top division .
The only comment we have had on here is from Flow and fair play to him however he as a club employee has to be careful about expressing opinions even personal ones and plays Devils Advocate in order to generate discussion and prevent topics such as this becoming stale.
We now have an official comment from the board which suggests to me that they are paying attention to this debate, however what I would love to see is an official idiots guide to the reasons for this proposition.
Break it down for us with real figures, how much do we get from the TV deal (pretty sure this must be in the public domain somewhere anyway), how much better/ worse off would we be (always assuming that we are part of the top echelon) if we were to move to this/stay the same /expand the league.
Maybe then we would understand the Clubs position.
At the recent MST Q&A night it was made clear there was no support from fans for a 10 team top division.
Over to you Mr Weir as Vice Chairman with the finance remit.
Great point!
ive never felt as distant to my club as i do now

Jim O'brien just Tweeted to Tom Hately saying all the best at port Vale
Seriously?
he better not go!

You're lucky. My local team is the New York Red Bulls.
Aye but next season you'll get to see spenny when portland come to town, also they have Adam Moffat! what a player he is!
-
There's got to be some junior teams hoping to fuck this abortion of a 10 team league comes into play!
Up the Tyre Vics!
Thats why im saying we need to expand at least if we can bring in 4 junior teams, 5 overall applied for the place Annan got like Spartans,Pollok,Bathgate Thistle
So theirs some junior teams who can come up and do a shift

Just seems the Clubs that are going with this, including Motherwell don't have the ability to improve the product or to market it! So instead of bother trying they'll just hope the punter who loses money week in, week out to watch sub-standard entertainment, in a sub-standard stadium will continue to do so.
It's time these "money" men start earning their fancy dan titles, or at least have the baws to admit they don't have a fucking clue on what their customer base wants...
Cuntos the lot of them!
Great point!
Thing is was Derek Weir not brought in to help us get more money? proven track record in the banking industry, he also got some awards for his abillity to turn a dying bank into profit
and he agrees with this? i also find it quite interesting JB isint on the panel and it's Derek

I couldn't care less, aslong as i have football to go to on a saturday
Same here, i just bought my ticket for Newmains Utd juniors

there is also the bit at the bottom that says
Fans are also reminded that the club released the following statement on October 20th covering a great deal of these issues
Well let's have a look at what was said then. (just a snippet)
Our priority for reforms will be behind those fundamental and substantial measures that stand a chance of arresting the decline in average attendances, commercial performance and sporting achievement at a club and national team level.
- Our number one priority would be the introduction of a substantial 'winter-break' and a Spring/early Summer start to the football calendar. The commercial, practical and cultural advantages of this we believe are compelling. We also support innovations around the timing of games throughout the week to secure maximum attendance, new audiences and commercial advantage.
The mention of attendance quite alot. Well if this proposal goes ahead MFC directors your obectives set out in your statement on October 20th are doomed to fail.
Thanks for the statement though.
I never read the part at the bottom, i was to offended to stupid Derek Weir's statement.
Honestly i cant believe the sheer cheek of our board to contradict itself all the time! why cant we be like dundee utd? who at least grew a set of balls

“What we do have to bear in mind is the importance of the funds we receive from TV deals, other media and sponsors. We are unfortunately already in a position where our best players can move to lower leagues in other countries for significantly increased wages and any further reduction in income from those sources will only make this problem worse. This will lead to a decline in the quality on the pitch"
Well the reason they can pay better wages is over the years they got a structure that is fair on everyone! (3 up and 3 down, fair pay out's in tv revenue etc)
When it was fair they money they received meant they could by players and as it was a level playing field the teams improved and it made the league better which then attracted the tv's to offer more money.
Dont come accross as desperate for any tv revenue
You want to show that your good enough without it and make the tv stations bid to get the rights to your league.
So far im not impressed with anything i have heard and the longer everyone pussyfoots about the real issues in Scottish football the worse it will be.
The death of scottish football is here peeps and were not going backwards we've plummeted off the edge
-
if he's being touted for 75k i would knock it back keep him till the end of the season then let him go.
We dont have anyone to play if he leaves.

You also forgot the burst shite pipes to add onto yer shite!

Plus all the stuff with Jennings. Been a pretty crappy few months that is for sure. Brown certainly has done his damage and I seriously wonder, due to the way our club has been portrayed (losing 5 members of staff plus 1 player to Aberdeen alone in 18 months) whether some fans who attend on an irregular basis have just been totally hacked off. I can certainly say I'm a bit scunnered myself.
Thats why i dont blame some people who say they wont come back if this whole 10 team league comes in

Want to find a picture thats a bit bigger?
im trying to but it's hard when im at work
dont have time to resize and stuff sorry lads
-
nice wee bit of communisim!
Bunch of guys who when told can 'look after" Doncaster's car
-
Jeebus, when are we going to get some good positive news that feels like we are going forward and not on one backways constant shitey trends so we can at least be reasonably positive as a well fan!
No wins in over a month!!
Watching us playing sheer shite!
Shitey refs giving us feck all, continually
Losing a manager to Aberdeen (again) who were bottom of the league and now unbeaten since he took over!
Losing our top scorer to the same shiiiite!
Seemingly being kb'd by our choices for manager in a long search which has resulted in Stuart McCall, no offence wee man but not what we expected!
The shite with the league reconstruction farce!
It's just been all shite recently!
im quite happy with McCall haha i know what you mean though. It's all part of the Well rollarcoaster
-
how long do we have to take this shite, cant wait to hear judas comments on this one
you missed it, it was earlier on this morning haha

Motherwell's new team photo
-
I just think we need more big religions
Lets make motherwell a jedi religion club!
-
The only thing I'd add
haha awesome steve!
Motherwell F.C
Where we lie about being a community club to our fans and go against what they say. Were happy enough to take your money but we want to feed of a dying carcuss of the Old Firm to fill our pockets more.
Carlsburg dont make community clubs.......and neither do Motherwell

You know what would be funny?
All the talk of the OF being bigger than us and talking down our league and saying they want to leave, lets kick them out.
Force them to join the juniors of the Faroe Islands league.
Sure SPL would suffer but we would find our ground and slowly build back up again.
Thats my dream reading a paper that the back 47 pages aren't about a Rangers reserve players hamstring injury. I mean the whole Jennings scenario? if that was any of the OF we would still be talking about it the only press i seen was Jonathan Watson ripping the piss in only an excuse (which was funny btw)

it will be funny to see the only poll on here with 100% against haha

Thats why i said i think we should at least keep Reynolds till the end of the season and get the most out of him until were able to use his wages to get someone else in
