  1. So does that mean that Mark Reynolds did the right thing by leaving the ball, because it was possibly going through to Ruddy, and Kris Boyd might not have been there? That article is fuckin ridiculous. How can Scottish football possibly survive as a whole, when the same people who can save it are the ones who are actively dragging it down?

    Ticket Prices

What you have to remember though is that the cost of running a football club, and the wages of a footballer, have risen way above the level of inflation as well, and unfortunately one has to cover the other. It's not right, but one club can't change that. It needs an overhaul on a level way bigger than Motherwell Football Club. There are ways we could make a small difference to ourselves and our own fanbase (in fact not just our own fanbase...more the attendees of Fir Park, which include away fans), and indeed a few that personally I think would work very very well, but then im not risking anything...im looking at it from a perpective where it's impossible for me to lose any money, so it's much easier to think it will work.
  3. Bit of an own goal getting Chick Young no?
  4. Greentech Lawyer: Did you drive any big fuck off tractors all over it when it was soft as shite? M.F.C: Ehhh...aye? Greentech Lawyer: See ye.
  5. Aw no. Just as well I didny think it was a pint of gravy then. Oh and while I remember.... it's "Ya Beezer", and not "Ya Bezzer"
  6. While we're at it, it's HutchINson. And somebody on here last season kept typing Krimpl. And who the fuck's John Roody. And I woke up this mornin to discover that i'd knocked a pint of water all over the place. Fuck sake.
  7. Bearing in mind though, Shivute wouldn't have stopped running with the ball until he physically couldn't get any further, so hitting the shot from the roof of the POD stand cuts down the height by quite a bit.
  8. Completely agree with the Scott Leitch thing. I never ever saw it.
  9. Lot of compliments about Lukas' attitude and commitment, especially with him being a loan player, but just thought this pic pretty much sums him up. Would be easy for a Premiership player to come up and swan about like he owned the place, but instead the big man "is willing to put his head where most players wouldn't put their feet" as the old saying goes. Attitude, talent, commitment... First class. Would McDonald/Boyd/Miller/Samaras et al go here, just to get the goal? Doubtful...
  10. I understand the thoughts of a point away from home being decent enough, and can't really argue with that, but in fairness Falkirk were fucking woeful. I could seriously and quite honestly have put a team of my mates together that would have taken 3 points off them tonight.

Do you want to buy a wee square of tablet? 20 notes....
  12. Whats the point in feeding the pitch if you're gonna drive a tractor over it? I'd have thought driving plant over it would be MUCH worse for it that missing a couple of feeds would be!

    St Mirren

Voted for Las today. Thrives on a wee bit of responsibility and when a wee bit of faith is put in him he leads by example. Prone to a few wee mistakes (should have buried a chance at the start of the second half and totally mis-hit it) but i'd put that down to having been in and out the side for so long, his sharpness isn't quite there. If Jack and Victor fancy him as our central midfielder as they seem to, then that will iron itself out fairly quickly. Also thought Murphy impressed when he came on.

    St Mirren Thread

Been a long time since I saw a team play so much with their elbows! Shocking stuff at times. Thought Lasley was great again in the middle of the park, seems to thrive on a bit of responsibility. Murphy looked good when he came on...as someone said his confidence is day and night when he's played up front as opposed to out wide. Humphrey also looks like he has a lot to offer, once he gets some game-time under his belt he could be a very promising player.
  15. Bob Malcolm is a top top guy, very funny, very generous (as anyone who knows the story about the O'Donnell embroidered top will know), and by all accounts was extremely popular with the other players, and particularly helpful to the youngsters. Unfortunately, aside from all that I genuinely think he's shite in the context of a full 90 minute, 11-a-side football match.
  16. Nothing wrong with a former player training with his old club, especially with good mates there it's easy to arrange. Good sign that he's putting something in place rather than coming home and sitting on his arse. He's still shite, mind.
  17. I couldn't go to Inverness. But if I could have, I still wouldn't.
  18. As said, Yass is gone. There's also a video interview on the BBC site where Brown mentions Jennings has been struggling with a knock.
  19. Weird! Just watched those highlights there, and i'd never have remembered that JOB played for Dunfermline.
  20. Aye you are. Check the travel sub-forum for an ironic pisstake of a bus name, that flies about as far over trafficlights head as it possibly could.
  21. I think the bit you put in bold was meant as "training and playing" hard...as in football. The non-football reference was what followed that.
