I wouldn’t think there will be any chance of sacking SK in the near future, BUT the attendance today of just over 4,000 with just 3,500 Motherwell supporters bothered to turn up especially after a good result at Celtic the week before. I don’t know if it was due to the weather but to loose 500 (13%) odd supporters tells you that they are not happy and if that continues the board need to address the situation!!

I am not surprised McGuire has been loaned out, the surprise is the level of the team he has went to, with respect to Kidderminster I would have thought Barry could have played at least in a Division 2 team in England and Championship team in Scotland, I wish him well and hope he can get a better team by playing in National league.

Are there any updates of when Butcher will be fit again? I have heard various times but not any definite timeline from MFC apart saying that he would be missing weeks of the start of the season!

I see Mark Ohara is out for a few weeks which should help us, but I wouldn’t say it will guarantee a win, as St Mirren are still a decent outfit but have to say I would rather face a St Mirren side without O’Hara rather than him on their side.

There are posts about getting some of our younger players on a possible longer contexts after the lesson of Max Johnston , for me the priority is to make sure SK is tied down to a longer contract ( no idea what contract he has) but I am sure SK will be on the radar of some of our rivals. (If Hibs fail to go through in Conference League Cup on Thursday I wouldn’t be surprised if Lee Johnston is emptied)

There was a guy that I watched in our reserve games a few years ago aged 15 I think and thought he had potential to be a good player but alas he had some personal problems which didn’t help his cause but would love Alfie to fulfil his potential, I really do wish him all the best at Falkirk

I just don’t understand provisional clubs chasing players from a completely different culture, Old firm can probably get away with it by having a good back up of support that they can afford. It will be interesting to see how the 2 Mexicans get on in Dundee, the cultural shock of living there in the Winter will test them I would imagine?

A goal from our new boy Conor Wilkinson which is encouraging. I also see that Butcher is out for a number of months (it was a number of weeks not that long ago!) our track record shows that we never rush anyone back from injury so we will probably see him play again in December/January!!
