Saw Craig Clay helping Leyton Orient push back to league football, sitting top of the National League 2 points clear of Salford and 3 clear of Solihull Moors with 2 games to go.........and they are away to The Moors on Monday......big game
He also has the FA Trophy final at Wembley to look forward against Flyde.....so could be playing against Francis-Angol
Flyde are also in the National league playoffs

Looked forward to this game. But really disappointed with the display. Thought we started well, played some nice football but still looked pretty toothless. However the defence was appalling, played worse than a bunch of schoolboys, the errors they made were so amateur.
Then listened to the manager on radio scotland and could not believe that he did not mention the defensive mistakes but put the blame on the young inexperienced players making the wrong decisions. The mistakes were all caused by our more mature players who could not get rid of the ball quickly enough and anywhere would do.
They made a very ordinary Rangers team look really good. What happens with our team when they play them?
Think "Young " Turnball might have been at fault in the second goal.......but agree throughout my life time we have made a number of ordinary RFC/Sevco teams look very .........erm..........better than us

Can only hope that St midden stay up rather than our diddy neighbors.........think that Dundee are all but gone and they will be hoping for Accies at Dens in the opening pre split fixture to try and get back into the mix
accies and their plastic pitch and support offer nothing to our top league

Mate at game reckons Cosgrove done the keeper........

Be warned that Copa sizes are a tad small .........I was given a Copa xxl Roma top as a present a few years ago.......was very figure hugging and had to be returned....about 23 inches armpit to armpit

Stand corrected on Riedle. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I had him as East German like Sammer...

Don't think Riedle was in the squad in 1990...
Scored one of the penalties against Engerland in the semi......unused sub in final
Stefan Reuter came on as a sub in final
Andy Moller was in the squad but did not feature in final
all played in the second leg at FP

To quote supertramp (one for the old bastards amongst us) crisis? What crisis?
It would be crime of the century if we were to be pulled into the mire. I’m happy for this to be famous last words but even in their quietest moments, the biggest doomsday merchants can’t think that we’re anything but free as a bird.
See, I’m a dreamer but I get it that for some, pessimism is indelibly stamped and that some things never change.
But as sure as Weeyin will be having his breakfast in America, willing progress as Well fan feels like everything is in slow motion. Some Things Never Change.
Oh, yeah
Alright
Here we go again
Hey hey, whoa no, da na, hey hey, yeah…....give a little bit ....away and get yer hair cut ya old hippy!!!!!!! -

Night and day (funnily enough) from Saturday. Hastie, Turnbull and Campbell linked up so well. Grimmy superb but Main remains a problem.
Voluntarily going down to 10 men for the last half hour probably wasn't the greatest idea in the world though.
Plus 1
Terrible decision to bring on a player who is clearly not fit...........could have majorly backfired
apart from that excellent 3 points with some excellent performances team wise......especially Curtis

As Andy P and some others point out you're wrong, Steelboy. Generally speaking cup attendances at this stage are habitually poor compared to league attendances, due mainly to the fact that season ticket holders have to pay to get in. Quality/size of opposition is also a contributory factor. Consider these stats from today and yesterday (Cup attendance as a rough percentage of average league attendances):
The figures are rough, not precise, and exclude Rangers & Celtic games. They also don't take into account away supports eg Ross County brought less than 200 to Fir Park. Of all the Premiership clubs playing at home we fared generally well as did St Johnstone and Kilmarnock. St Mirren, Celtic, Dundee and Hibs fared relatively poorly. In absolute terms we had higher attendances than St Johnstone, St Mirren, and Dundee. Without debating exact figures, we can conclude that our attendance yesterday compared very well with other Premiership clubs and in no way reflected badly on our support or club.
I know there there is apathy creeping in amongst our support and that might well be reflected in future attendances but simply looking at yesterday that was not really reflected in the size of the crowd.
Think the English Premiership has down graded the FA cup with teams playing under strength teams to try and stay in the league as the bigger picture........and it has rubbed off up here......im sure you used to get the 3rd round on the season ticket
The old"third" round of the cup used to be a big thing when I was younger ,can always remember the claret and Amber rosettes in the late 60s early 70s and every one was "Up for the Cup"......... Tragic days......quarter final defeat against Killie at FP......... away 1-3 Stirling Albion.....Wednesday afternoon kick off replaygame against Ayr .....then losing to the ugly sisters after replays......Dixie scoring for Smeltic in quarter final replay under the lights at FP.........then the unmentionable in 1975........hibs X 3 in 76 quarter final.......28000 at FP against St Midden 1977 Fergie Fergie shut yer mouth........we always seemed to get the old firm (especially Rangers)who knocked us out regular basis 4/5 times in the mid 70sc

The decision to play an unfit McCormack is incredible.......apparently he never trained at all last week and was only involved in the Friday team tactics talk for the game (which must have been interesting)
As mentioned on other posts, the tactics of starting with two wingers when we have have hardly played with one all season is also mind boggling, then brings on a third winger in young Hastie !!!!!! When he also admits that Ariyibi wasn't 100 % match fit yet he gets 90 minutes
2-1 flattered us

Can't appeal 2 yellows .....but totally agree didn't think it was a particularly bad/dangerous/tackle.......foul yes ....yellow no
Clancy made an absolute fool of himself, the penalty decision was mind boggling he was a few feet away the ball was clearly in and he consults the linesman who is a mile away !!!!!!!and the persistent fouling of the young boy Scott throughout the fist half which he let go un punished
And as usual the poor standards of referring in Scottish football will go undressed...week in and out we get shocking decisions......which are never addressed........the second penalty at Ipox and sending off....typical example
