Alexander’s shut up shop tactic has worked far more times than it fails. I don’t enjoy watching it but it has been effective

Has that been by luck or skill?

I remember several late saves by Kelly that could or even should have been goals. Livi were a Grimshaw block away from grabbing back a point.

Arse collapsing in the last minutes is not going to work in the long term. T

    Watt on for van Veen.

Alexander's comments about too much work for the players feeling like an excuse. If he is actually concerned about the compressed schedule put on some youngsters.  there will never be a more oppertune time. Stephen O'Donnell for Max Jphnstone seems like an obvious sub.

The whole lafferty situation is a no brainer for me, he scored loads of goals in a poor team last season, i think alot of fans dislike him due to his history with Rangers but say it was a player who hadnt played with Rangers/Hearts with figures like he had we would all be delighted. I will be happy IF we sign him, guaranteed to score goals and is an improvement on who left the squad.

Before his purple patch with Killie (bolstered by hat-trick vs Stenhousemuir) he has scored 10 goals in 62 games.

All his league goals were against bottom 6 teams so zero evidence he can play against a good side. For example his hat-trick against Utd came in the midweek before their cup tie. Utd had rested most of their team.

He is turning 34. Not someone we should be looking at.

Dare I say it but Lamie didn’t put a foot wrong. Agree with most of the other comments that Mugabi and Kelly were also very good. Although Kelly didn’t have anything other than routine work to do tonight, he just exudes competence. Excellent distribution too, just like Carson. They’re probably the best two long range passers of the ball at the club

First 10 seconds when he fell down and gave away a free kick. But aye he was solid for the rest of the game. Won plenty of headers and had a couple of blocks.

Just edges out Mugabi for me

Looks a possibility going by the SFA statement...

The SPFL Board met this afternoon and has agreed to postpone the fixture whilst the position is investigated. An investigation will now be carried out by the SPFL to ascertain the circumstances leading to this postponement.

A spokesman for the SPFL said: “No new date for this fixture has been set, pending the outcome of the SPFL investigation.”

If these poker night rumours are true I can see us getting the 3 points.

We  have had 3 decent opportunities in this , so not bad in a European game, bad miss from Gallagher in second half

All about taking your chances at this level. Not like Beer Sheva have been creating loads either but when they did they put them away.

Hope that Hastie comes good? So you're wanting to persevere with a loan player til he finds form but you've decided that McGinlay is not a player who'll go up and down?

People need to accept that bringing Hastie back was a horrendous error...

Well Mcginley has to be better than Lamie in the back 3.

Mark O'Hara is playing out of position; he's not a defensive midfielder. Jordan White is suffering from very poor service and the defence is good for at least 1 if not more soft goals per game. We need to work far harder in preventing crosses in the first place.

Jordan White suffers from not being good enough for this level.
