    Hearts Motm

Nothing in your post showed anything resembling or even close to effort. I'm absolutely disgusted with you right now: all you had to do was show a little glimpse of what you could do. Other people's posts weren't that great yesterday but there was enough punctuation in those posts to get their point. You just sat back and bitched and whined and didn't take any responsibility for how anyone was supposed to read it. Like I told every one of my four followers on Twitter, you owe me and poor Haggis an apology for trying to read that. I don't mind errors in technical accuracy here and there. I do, however, have a problem with someone typing such a negative, poor and, I'll go as far to say, lazy post. The first bad performance of the season and you think the players and manager owe you an apology? You think they answer to you? Get over yourself.
  2. Again, based on what? They weren't regulars during last season for the manager so why is everyone sure they will be this time around? Ainsworth wasn't exactly Mr Consistency in the second half of last season. I'm not saying I know where Taylor will fit in but I'm just intrigued that so many seem to have decided that Marvin and Ainsworth are guaranteed starters and yet the club captain isn't?
  3. Have they? Based on what? Two play-off games?
  4. Is Brobbel still on trial with us?
  5. Please excuse my ignorance but what kind of a player is Cadden? Box to box? Playmaker? Combative?
  6. ...or, they kept him on, as a loyal servant, until he reached his testimonial before letting him move on and continue his career elsewhere. He was surplus to requirements last season anyway.
  7. ...and yet some people have decided he is not good enough.
  8. Sorry, precious, I was simply commenting on football tops in general.
  9. Stating the ridiculously obvious but £45 for a football shirt is bordering on the obscene.
  10. Am I the only one who doesn't want spoilers of what the strips will look like? It's not going to be much of a launch if everyone already knows what it looks like. Before there's any smart-arse comments like "don't read the thread then", I read the thread to find out information about when it will be launched, if it's been launched, who the sponsor will be, what designs UBH has dreamt up...

    Rangers (2Nd Leg)

I thought Pearson was one of the very few who showed composure right from the very first minute so he wins my vote.
  12. A 3-1 win was beyond my wildest dreams. For the first part of the match, I was worried that were sitting in too deep but it became clear that we were drawing them out to then hit them on the counter attack. As the half went on, we just got better and better. The first goal, fortunate as it was, was psychologically damaging to them and we took advantage. The first 15 or so of the second half was unreal! The third goal was a thing of beauty. We were spraying the ball about and looked totally dominant. Then it changed. A few have commented on Ainsworth's miss when he was leaning back and tried to hammer the ball when placing it either side of the keeper would have sufficed. I was also annoyed with long shots from Skippy and Johnson around that time, going for the glory shots as though the game was over. Erwin, who was fantastic, looked knackered after an hour, as did our other runners who were the out-ball when Rangers attacked. As a result, we continued to invite pressure and we allowed them back into the game. Like I say, I'm surprised but thrilled that we won. I just left with that nagging frustration that we didn't finish them off and make it 4-0. Even if they did get a late goal then, it would only have been a consolation.
  13. He won't be live on national TV every week to advertise his ability...
  14. Yeah, exactly. Its one useful service is during a match when numerous, frequent posts are required and you don't need to keep refreshing the match-day thread. I would have voted for the option: "No, but have it open on match days."
  15. If we keep changing players on the basis of a bad game or two (Long, Law, etc) how are we ever going to hope to find a settled side?
  16. This is the same Marshall that ruined the career of Darren Randolph, aye?
  17. I'd really like McManus to keep his mouth shut when it comes to talking to the press or former Celtic pals. As a senior player, I want his entire focus to be on guiding his less experienced team-mates through the remainder of our highly pressurised games. Until safety is confirmed, I don't give a toss what he thinks about anything.
  18. For as much as the negativity in general on here pisses me off, I just can't see how we are going to take even a point from this match. Obviously, I hope to God I'm wrong. Beating Aberdeen gives me more joy than a victory over any other team.

    Dom Thomas

Genuinely more of a question than a suggestion but could Baraclough be keeping Thomas out of the limelight until he is tied down to a long-term contract?
  20. What was the crowd reaction when Ainsworth was brought on?
  21. Try downloading Dolphin or Opera browers.

    Baraclough Out

...and trains like a bastard too. He doesn't just rock up to an Olympic Games having trained for a couple of hours three or four days a week.

    Baraclough Out

Absolutely. I'm not for a second trying to defend Baraclough right now but my biggest problem with the vitriol he's facing is that it completely excuses the inexcusable from so-called professional footballers. Out pished on the weekends? Feeding their faces on fry ups? Now getting their mates to phone up radio stations for public bitching sessions? Totally and utterly pathetic from grown men paid good money for a job most would kill for. It's bad enough the contempt they show for the fans and the management on the park; their behaviour off it is bordering on disgusting. Stop making excuses for them!
