Great start.

Loving your efforts guys, both at Fir Park and down at Killie a couple of weeks ago. Well done lads, you're start to the season's matched the teams
-
a confidence player if every there was one and once he realises that he is one of the best, there will be no stopping him
Totally agree with this... Jamie's an absolute gem of a boy, just wish he could be more of a bstd when he walks on the park! His next move is as important to him as it is to the club, just hope they both choose the right way forward.

+1
Swore I'd never do that but it feels good. Mighty good.

Great thread lads.
Will be remembering a friend to many and a true Dosser, Russell Fitzpatrick.
Also my brother-in-law Jim Harvey. Although a Celtic lad he was a football fan first & foremost and would've loved the slaughtering my family would've dished out this week.
For each and everyone of you missing someone tomorrow, I raise a glass. I'm away noo tae dry ma eyes.

For anyone who was photographed with their sponsored player;
I'll be handing the memory card into the club today (Tue) but I'm not sure what their intentions are regarding publishing them. I'd like to see them on the clubs Facebook, but I'll see what they say. A few folk have expressed disappointment about not receiving photo's from previous years and I obviously want to avoid that. Feel free to PM me if you'd like me to forward the photo's directly.
I thought it was a superb night, and a nice idea having players (looked like the full squad) at each table. Tam Cowan was, as always at 'Well gigs, excellent and kept the night moving along nicely.
Looking forward to my next shift back at the 'ark... Taking photies of Claret & Amber ribbons on the Scottish Cup.
Intae Thum
Oh, and ThomasMFC - I can't send you a message, your messenger isn't switched on. Think you need to post a few comments first.

It's the week before our first cup final in two decades. You're MEANT to get carried away. Who gives a fuck about honesty and realism (apart from MJC)?!
Jay mate, I've never knowingly met you, but if I have the good fortune to at some point in the future, I'm buying you a beer.
1-0 Well.
Intae thum.

It was Paul Slane's European top I collected. I got my photo taken with John Ruddy.
Cheers mate.
Sorry mate, I recovered Stevie Hammell & Gordon Young with Slane's Home & Away top... The Euro one was one of the corrupt files.
-
Looking forward to tonight. Bob do you have the photo's from last year? Never ever seen the ones we had taken.
Andy, I had a total 'mare with the photo's last year due to a corrupt memory card and crashed laptop... You couldnae make it up I managed to recover most of the photies, but I think you were one of my victims. Who did you sponsor last year and I'll check back?
Lessons learned and I've triple checked this years set-up.
See ye the night

Cheers mate. Will just need to turn up and explain. Smart casual I take it ?
That won't be a problem mate, they'll be disappointed to hear of your problems. And yeah, smart casual is normally the order of the day.
I know that Diane from the office has been unwell this week putting even further pressure on the rest of the team. This might go some way to explaining why this have gone wrong.
Always a cracking night by the way. You even get some fat bloke taking pictures of you with your sponsored strip / player

Craggs for me too, if only because in 9 days he'll be standing at Hampden holding the Scottish Cup above his head.
Randolph with a wee groin issue, no one appeared overly concerned after the game though.

Love how Psycho has a wee look across at the linesman after decking the Pointer.
And wee Dougs... He fkn owned the Sellick
-
Superb comeback... Always felt we were still in it. Which is unusual for a dour faced fkr like maself.

Oh a dunno, there's plenty rockets about here
Anyhoos... Intae Thum!

surely not that difficult to figure?
Ooooh, get you and your cleverness.

Loads, but my memory is shite to the point I question ever being anywhere...
Most recent 'big' game for me was Tynecastle post-Phil. Not so much about the result, but the turnout in general, and by my own wee gathering of pals... And the dog-napping on the corpy bus much, much later in the day was a bit special.
Even more recently is having the wee fella onboard for games... Love that on match day he's no longer just ma wee boy, but another full blown Dosser.

"We will mark our 125th year anniversary with a number of events involving heroes from the past and present."

How many free pies per person/child ?
Are they mince or the steak ones ?
Are they Chapmans ? (Mince or Steak)
Can you guarantee Arnott will serve my pint ?
If we lose will it be mince or the steak pies or Chapmans thrown at the players ?
Will Mr S Kirk let anyone one else on the karaoke ?
Will the bar be serving alcohol at 11 am ? (Might cancel swiming at Wishae 1000hrs)
Is there a vegi option ?
Ps Tam Forsyth no gonae be there ????

Apologies if this link has been posted previously... Just a wee bump of something on the 'fishal.
Beer, Free Pies, Fitba & The Players
As the link says, the Centenary Suite will be open from 11am on Sunday.
Reasons You Might Want To Watch The Game At The 'ark
- Kids welcome (could be handy for carrying you home, I'll lend one of mine).
- King Dooogie pouring the ales.
- Free pies for lard asses and those who enjoy the occasional treat.
- Meet the players on their return to FP. Carry them high when we win, throw cauld pies if they don't.
- Karaoke later on... Everyone gets a go at Just Can't Get Enough.
A lot of effort goes into these things "up-by", and those involved should be congratulated. I know we all have our own regular boozers for watching games, but this offers something a bit different. Give it a thought on Sunday lads & lassies, would love to see these events being well attended.
