  1. Pretty much sums the back man up for me. I've been impressed with Higdon's work rate since his arrival. Defending deep into out half as well. Think we need a 'number 9' to put the ball in the pokey and until then, I think we will struggle in front of goal and have to rely on the defence winning us games and not the number of goals scored. But that's a different issue.
  2. But your not just paying to watch the game. You'll be in the crowd, feeling the atmosphere and being able to cheer the team on. You never know, you might just be able to be there for a famous victory and say 'I was there!'. (Much like the 6-6 game. Although I left at 6-2...). You always remember those games more when you're there. And you won't have to listen to Craig Burley on the telly.
  3. I heard a stunning fact about Rangers in relation to this. They haven't lost a game in league when they have been 1-0 up at half time in FIFTEEN years. We need to be on top of our game but it's perfectly winnable. We just need everything to come good on the day. Our performance, them to have a off day and the refereeing decisions go our way.

I remember this. It was Cantona-esque! Some run up as well
  5. 'Steel-man'? Just stick a Motherwell top on him and it's shootie-in. Even stick the away kit on at away days...
  6. We've spoke about this game before mate. Click here BTW, I'm not a sad stalker and think about you TS, honest!
  7. The day the whole East Stand tore Andy McLaren to shreds when he was with Killie a few years back. Never seen a man take so much abuse in my life. Nearly greetin' and everything, the big jakey bam.
  8. Steve Jennings, Jennings. He's Scouse and he's fuckin' hard. He's better than Steve Gerrard. Steve Jennings, Jennings.
  9. So am I an "enabler" then. By answering your question, I'm reinforcing that any drivel that you post will be replied to, even though it was covered in the thread already? But aye, it's only £10 for students. (Fuck, there I go again...)
  10. Good result today. Always good to beat that mob. I felt that the game was a bit turgid until Black got sent off. That lifted the crowd which spurred the team on. No complaints about either red card but O'Reilly is a fucking disgrace. I was impressed with Murphy's strength today. Standing up and bumping the Hearts' defence off the ball. Hope to fuck we can keep the boy. Allegedly Fat Sally was in the crowd the day. Top of the League too.
  11. Certainly would be of interest to me. I'm pretty sure I've heard that Glasgow Rugby do the same thing where you can buy 5 or tickets for use over a period of time. And if I was to save a wee bit of cash, all's the better. Although, in my case, the money wasn't the issue. My only concern would be that maybe those less desirable in society (OF Fans ) would maybe club together and get tickets for their games a bit easier. But since they don't even sell-out, it wouldn't be that big a deal. "I'm in."
  12. I personally found my season ticket to be great value when I had it and it still is today to be fair. The only sickener was handing over the cash just after holidays, but hey, I did save up for it. Sadly I had to give it up as I work at least 2 weekends a month and it's hard enough trying to swap a shift as a one off without needing swaps most weekends. So I try to get to the football as much as I can. I made about 15 - 20 games last year, home and away. I like to think that by going to the games when I can, buying a pie, buying some gear from the shop, I'm doing my wee bit to help the club survive. But I know times are hard for everyone and when it comes to new shoes for the weans or going to the football, I know what I would pick. (The shoes, honest... ) I think the powers at be in control of football maybe have to realise that, not so much the clubs or else we will have a great TV deal, but played in empty grounds.
  13. Because Wallace has moved to one of the OF, he'll now get a call up? Thats how I read it...
  14. That's fucking worse than my Cup Final flags shenannigans. I know folk think that this is a big joke but it pisses me right off that folk think they can complain and tell others what they can and can't do. Surely someone better tell the Liverpool fans to stop singing to Maxi Rodriguez, as it could be seen as derogatory towards the Spanish and adding to the image of 'Manuel' from Faulty Towers. Ridiculous!
  15. What a pile of shite. Someone actually took the time out while at the football to listen intently to get the words of the song just right, find a steward and complain?!? Some folk need a good ride or something. I've heard a lot worse chanted at the football than a winger running down the wing, For ME!!! YEY!! :wallbash:
  16. Stick them on the MFC eBay site. £15 a seat. There's £60,000 there...
  17. Good draw. And a wee trip up to Cumbernauld, not too far. Hopefully we can progress with no real dramas.
  18. True. He may well have been. My main gripe with the post was that 8,000 at the semi and the atmosphere was great. Double that and it was like sitting at church (or any other place of religious worship ).
  19. Because the final was full of folk out for the day. (Have we not covered this pish already? ) Our core support was there for the semi. Everyone one extra at the final was just out for the day. I even seen my aunt at the game ffs. I had an auld guy telling me to sit down, "cos ye kin stawn when they score..." I moved and stood at the back of the stand.
  20. I'd take the Clydebank-onians or Ayr away. A good away trip
  21. Was in the 'Well shop today and all three tops are looking well cracking and if I'm honest I want all three. I wasn't keen to start with but seeing the there of them in the flesh, I'm really impressed.
