The one thing we will all agree on is that there is definitely a juggling act going on with the squad at the minute,the manager is in a kinda damned if you do,damned if you don't situation right now.im not going to point the blame to much at the manager as the team he started with should have been good enough to put us in a position where we didn't need to be bringing on the likes of fadinger and longelo as a rescue act.the players as a collective fucked that up today,the likes of vogt should have been bursting a gut to put in a performance and get off the mark with a goal against a lower league side but he went through the motions the whole game.theres probably some from today ie ross and wilson that have done there chances some serious harm in terms of the manager being able to trust them in future games.

Our forward line needs addressing and quick,there all far to similar and other than said there all lazy,it was clear we didn't want to overplay on that pitch but there was zero movement from our forwards to get in behind or down the channels,we need an out and out winger and a number 9 and let's get away from these that can play anywhere across the front line types plus I really hope were not pining our hopes on the strikers that we currently have injured as there not the answer either.

I'm not buying into being down the bare bones and resting players,shite pitch etc,we should have had enough at any point in that game to get the job done and we have massively fucked it up,we barely created a chance in 120 minutes and thats unforgivable.weve brought in a fortune over the summer and it's about time we got a couple of forwards in that can make a difference,cooke is poor and vogt looks like he's won a competition to be here and that should be the end of the road for the likes of wilson and ross.

We've finished this game with a forward line that wouldn't look out of place in the league below,absolutely pitiful.

The pitch is dreadful but we have been just as bad,I get there playing out of necessity but wilson and ross aren't the answer and masanhise and vogt need a rocket up there arse,hopefully the managers half time team talk does the business as were miles off it here.

The club has got a lot right in recent times but we have really dropped the ball when it comes to the seating in the POD,nobody should be paying to go and sit in a seat that is deemed a health hazard.theres a decent debate over on p&b about the seating still being a mess in the mclean stand and away supports being housed in the upper tier,it's not s great look all round on the club.

4 points from our first 2 league games in between europe is a decent return but we are woefully short in key areas,we need a slattery replacement,a winger and a striker and all 3 need to be brought in as first choice players.we have lost a lot of quality and brought in millions,we now need some investment in the playing squad and ideally soon.

We had to be still right in the tie to give us a chance next week and we have more than done that,brilliant nights work from us considering all the personnel problems we have at the minute.

You never know what to expect from the opening game at the best of times but giving the changes were have had to endure,that really is a great 3 points.all the signings seen to be settling in nicely with moorman in particular looking like he could be a real find.i still think we need to sign a midfielder and a striker that will be brought in as first choice picks,which is easier said than done but with the money thats been brought in should hopefully give us a fighting chance to make that happen and get one or two back from injury and theres no reason why we can't keep the feel good factor going this season.

Lowry was highly thought of earlier in his career but for whatever reason it hasn't quite happened yet but we have a decent track record of getting players careers going again so hopefully this is another one of those times.

A win and 90 minutes under the belt that should see us that bit fitter and sharper for next week so all in all a decent nights work.

It's all about getting through so hopefully we have enough over the two legs and we can then be in much better shape in terms of fitness and signings for the next round.

Glad it's done and we can move on,to get nearly £2million for a guy that most of us probably said last summer why are we signing him is great business but there's no denying he was brilliant for us and will be missed,having all this money in the bank is all well and good but we really need to see more incomings and good ones at that.

Miller's comments about being the best in the scotland squad when he first got called up didn't go down well and you have to wonder if that's now going against him.i think he was the only player to get no minutes in the last set of friendlies which was bizarre in its self,for scotland to not take a player playing in serie a to a world cup is a poor decision.

Gutted he's away but it was better now than a few weeks down the line.i don't think the club has ever been in better shape while looking to appoint a new manager,interest is bound to be at an all time high,there's never a dull moment that's for sure.
