we should be looking for atleast a million for murphy if clubs dont want to pay it tell them to GTF.hes a big player for us so losing him would be a blow but if we get the right money for him maybe mccall would stand a half decent chance of getting a replacement in even if it is just paying a wage with no fee involved

i think we were always gonna have a smaller squad than last season we couldve easily replaced the 5 or 6 average players that have left with players of a similar standard but hopefully signing 3 or 4 of a better quality will make us a better team.guys like ross and jeffers were always gonna be short term signings casagolda was a waste of time so i dont see any of them as a great loss and now there gone its upto the younger to step up and take there chance.

thats a bit disappointing to hear we could only be getting one more player which will be another defender going by what mccall has been saying.i think we badly need another forward only having two senior stikers in the squad leaves us short

if united are getting £2 million for goodwillie then we should be asking for a similar amount for murphy especially if its premiership teams involved

it does seem a quieter pre season than usual but i think thats mainly down to mccall keeping silent over potential signings unlike mcghee and brown who couldny keep there traps shut about what players they wanted to sign
