I never wanted halliday at the start but I'll admit he has done us a decent turn.if the manager thinks he can get a player in that's better suited to the way we play then he has to take it,at this stage of the window any players leaving will ideally be replaced before moving on.

I couldn't care less what other clubs do with there players that has interest in them,I'm only interested in what we do and our club is doing the right thing by not taking any risks.lennon miller won't play for us again,I dread to think what state your drawers are going to be in if lennon hasn't been sold this week and he then isn't in the squad for the weekend.

The club will get a record fee,our midfield already looks strong without miller,there's nothing but positives for the club where this one is concerned.

5 million isn't fantasy stuff,we will end up with about that.

Miller won't play for us again,we need it done and both parties can move on.were in serious need of some players and if we're waiting for the money from miller to make it happen then we can only hope theres movement early this week.

As things stand it would be madness to play lennon,the risk is just to high.you can be sure that bitter fud robinson would have targeted him yesterday had he played.we find ourselves with a really good midfield 3 and almost certainly a record fee coming in for lennon,I would have took that before a ball was kicked this season.

Another positive result to try and build on,were definitely needing some incomings in central defence and up front being the priority but I still think we're a midfielder short also.

It's still far to early to tell but top 6 should definitely be in our thoughts.i was worried coming into the season that the saga around lennon would be a negative distraction but thankfully it clearly isn't going to be.we look to have recruited quite well so far and if we can get another 3 or 4 then there's no reason why we can't have a decent season.were going to lose games along the way but if we can entertain a bit and look like we're actually going to win games then it's all I can ask as it's felt like a bit of a chore going to games for the last couple of season to watch a team that was happy to have no possession and barely created a chance.

That was a really impressive second half performance from us and doing it without lennon into the bargain,the prospect of a few million coming in and the manager still wanting some new faces,it's early days but there's some really positive signs.

I'm all for the manager trying to get us playing a new style but it'll all be pointless if we can't keep the ball out our net,all it took was 15 minutes into the new season to witness a picture that we have seen so many times of the last few season.to be going into this with mcginn as first choice is a joke.

I thought thompson was rotten but he was probably unfortunate enough that he arrived right at the end of kettlewells reign and lacking fitness,he struggled to find a team mate on grass so who knows what he will be like on the plastic.

It looks like bologna are about to sell a player for £35million,you would have to think if they really want miller then it might only be a matter of time now.
