  2. Agreed, keep up the good work gentlemen. Maybe work on the clothing and trainers collections though
  3. Sadly I'm with the ginger one here - not convinced to date about Higdon. Although i did think last night was his best game to date (wasn't at Dunfermline so wont include) - Great finish last night. Won a good share of headers (which I don't think he's been doing to date) and also involved in some neap passing play but would just rather have a more mobile centre-forward. I've come to expect a SPL Centre Forward to do all of this to be honest, maybe i just want the moon on the stick from a professional football player. Also thought he linked up better alongside McHugh than Murphy. Someone mentioned that he was "brilliant last night", if that's brillant then i'm not overly excited about his Motherwell career as thought he was average at best. His touch is woeful at times too although that's sadly common place in the Scottish game. Would Gannon have signed him? Ah dinnae hink sae. He's got no sell-on value, so he has nowt to prove and will probably find another SPL/DIV 1 club when his contract expires regardless of this perfomances, so personally wouldn't have signed him either in the first place. Just think he's another Jim Hamilton-esque player.
  4. That's my understanding, if we manage to avoid "cashflow issues" during a season, then our investment is not used and i'm guessing allowed to gain interest over that period.
  5. Fatcalf as Grimmy's Vice Chairman??.... or should that be Chairman of Vice????
  6. Looking forward to decorator becoming club chairman in 2013!!!!
  7. Thought tonight sounded positive and i'll probably get involved. Not too fussed about the incentives, just happy to invest in my team. Also nice touch from McFadden to sign up already
  8. Quality.....who was this man??
  9. That was a pish team scudding us 3-0 yesterday...........woeful performance, woeful game. Even felt like a friendly at some stages. PS...i'm normally quite positive tae.
  10. He was an Irish International who played around 20-25 games for us in 2001-2002 season. We got him from either Sheff Utd or Tranmere from memory and then he had a bust up with Eric Black during a cup game with Dunfermline(think it was the game the lad got onto the roof of their East Stand and we got beat) and don't think he ever played again for us. He's was Billy Davies' assistant manager at Notts Forest up until last season.
  11. The dream supplier you say...Fan'dabi'dassler As for my Rt. Hon. ONeils40yarder's comments, this link maybe of interest to you... Clicky
  12. I cringe at some of the stuff that goes on away from the pitch on online football forums.
  13. Had to laugh last night at some lad standing behind me, he was moaning about the way we were playing and then used Barcelona as his comparison..........
  14. Don't forget the new "Stay Off The Road" warnings whilst leaving the ground. Come to think of it, i have hit a car whilst walking on the payment and cut ma ear as i bounced off it onto the pavement. Booze eh,
  15. Bullying, Falling out with senior players and club staff, Picking public fights wi refs and media, Sticking to his ideas, Giving out fines for petty offences, Selling 1st team regulars for not meeting his high standards, Running clubs his way or nowt.... That guy Ferguson has been doing all these things since the 70s with East Stirling and he's done no too badly in the game:-D
  16. There will always be haters and i bet we'll see them when we get to the final. Met a former season-ticket holder tonight, who referred to us as a pub-team but i bet my left bawbag if we win tomorrow, he'll be taking black cock for a final ticket....cants!!!!!
  17. Nae idea haven't looked at them since the day i picked them up. What does it state Mr Turd? I'm pretty sure they usually state along the lines that you'll be refused admission if drunk
  18. Here Here, don't forget not listening to radio too.
  19. By posting on here it does the following 1) Answers my question(hopefully). 2) Allows other fans who intend to travel for the game in Feb(but have no £5 tickets), the chance to buy our tickets. = Mare chance of us getting our money back. Two burds, one stone
  20. Hi there, we bought 11 tickets for the game back in December and none of us can attend the re-arranged date. Could you confirm if we can return tickets for a refund? PS...if anyone requires some £5 tickets for the rearranged game, give me a shout.
  21. Sorry to hear this news - he travelled on our bus to/from Prestwick Airport for the Nancy game. Spoke to him quite recently in JD's before a game. Sad news.
