  1. This will be my last season were i've got a season ticket, and have the luxury of attended the majority of away games.

    I'll not be renewing my season ticket, and will be picking and choosing my games from now on. The problem isn't when we go to either ibrox or parkhead were we take a 250, 500, 750 to away games now. Don't know about anyone else but i'm struggling to find an away game this season were we've broke the 1000 mark. Aberdeen away in august? There's been some very poor attendances this year. The average attendance at home this year most be the lowest in the last decade. Struggle to get into the 5000 mark. If you were to compare to the average attendance figure for the spl it must surely be down.

    Last night and this season was a result of alot of things.

    . Ticket prices

    . Travel Expenses

    . Added ticket prices for cup games

    . State of scottish football

    . Lack of competition

    . Boring

    . Value for money

    . Fans are treated as scape goats

    The big question is "VALUE FOR MONEY"

    I can count on one hand were i've came away from a game thinking. "Good game today, good atmosphere. Looking forward to next week now".

    It's not the fault of the fans. It's something that has to be brought by clubs to the S.F.A and SPL.

    We can't blame supporters for turning there back if they can't afford it.

  2. He's fuckin' shite. I'd also punt Craigan, who's slow and cannae pass. What about Reynolds? A weakling ginger at centre-half? PSV??? They can have him, on a free. Young boys like Forbes, Murphy and Hateley can also get to fuck. Guys like this just aren't Motherwell standard. And John Sutton. What a shit striker. Did you see him tonight? Gash.

    :(:lol:

    You at the wind up?

  3. Did I ever say you do not or will not ? Answer the question, how does booing help the team?

    Do you think the players really care, if we applaud or boo them off the park? People wan't to show there anger at a performance, sub, tactical decision or a defeat. Were the ones that pay thousands of pounds a season to watch motherwell. Players are in the game for themselves, they don't care if they get booed off the park or not.

    My opinion to your question is, players don't care. Just like they take the routh with the smooth.

    Water off a ducks back

  4. I do not agree that Gannon has to go, thats a ridiculous statement.

    On the other hand though, his tactics and decisions in the last few games have been horrible.

    Spot On!

    Question's must be answered.

    When's he going to learn that this kind of football where trying to play isn't working, it's okay having the ball passed about the back four, but where not creating spaces while doing it. Very poor. No penetration when on the ball, no creativity. Every player in the first quarter of the pitch when defending, so when we do win the ball we have to play tight football in our own half, which this team can't do. Yassin's atitude yesterday was terrible couple of occasions he gave up in chasing the ball before it had wen't out the park. Same points every week. This issue with dicipline is very average. It's so good saying " Gannon what do you make of the relegation scrap that your team are currently in?" " It's dissapointing but where the best diciplined team in the spl". It's starting to show in our play, not closing down and not putting in enough challenges, which could run the risk of commiting a foul. Being the team with less yellow cards and fouls doesn't win us games.

    let us see an improvement on saturday.

  5. Some stinking performances from some players over the last few weeks, so i suppose if you really wanted you could drop:

    Forbes

    Yassin

    Coke

    Hammell

    Don't think he'll change it much. Going for.

    Ruddy, Hammell, Saunders, Reynolds, Yassin, Hately, Lasley, Coke, Murphy, Sutton, Jutkiewicz

    Can't see us winning, but a good performance please. Would be suprised to see forbes starting and playing left mid again. Especially when were playing a narrow game at the moment with no width, and our full backs been sucked into the middle of the park in numorous occasions. Space that's been left in behind is unbeliavaible.

  6. As for bringing players in, we oculd really do with some creativity.

    PLEASE DO GANNON :nod:

    Still think we need a right back at lest cover anyway if we keep Yasin. and a creative midfield player. Someone who can change the tempo of a game, never get posted missing when everyone else does and someone who can take the game by the scruff of the neck.

    I'm afraid good players = Spending money and that's something we don't have. :lol:

  7. Bitterly disapointed with the performance on sunday. Very lack luster when in possesion of the ball. Never looked comfortable at all. No imagination when on the ball. How many times in the last 3-4 games have we seen the ball played from keeper - defence - midfield - defence (switch) - midfield - defence then a hump up the park. No creative influence in the team at the moment. Decisions like playing forbes at left mid, when we are exposed so many times down the flanks then takes him off at half time for the 2/3 game in a row. Why start him then? Tactical decisions? Then when were chasing the game we convert to one up front. Incident in the second half where coke is in the hibs box and has to take a shoot from a tight angle cause no ones in the box!! Not just saturday but evident in the last couple of games. Very disapointing.

  8. hughes now rumoured to be goin back tae gers

    Just heard that aswell on radio clyde. Pretty bemused, dont understand why a club as big as rangers would be interested in him. The last a heard they were interested in Dorman.

  9. Hugely disappointing but hardly surprising.

    Considering where we were at Christmas I think it was near miraculous that we managed to get back into contention for a top 6 finish. Plenty of graft and effort but absolutely no quality – Stephen Hughes excepted.

    However having said that, I would like to make the following observations on our manager and players:

    Manager

    Wrong team selection from the start. In a home game which we needed to win, against a team well below us in the league why did he:

    - play our normal right-back at left back (Quinn);

    - play our normal left-back in midfield (Hammell);

    - play a 4-3-3 with two defenders (Klimpl and Hammell);

    - wait until St. Mirren scored before making a substitution;

    - have his defenders launch long balls to Sutton but have no midfield players getting forward to

    take advantage of his knockdowns;

    - vary his tactics occasionally from just launching long balls forward;

    - have no width to our forward play.

    This is not the first vitally important game that he has done this – has he not learned anything? Far too indecisive and seems incapable of influencing a game by use of substitutes. Also is he able to motivate the players.

    Players

    Poor application and questions must be asked about their mentality and spinal fortitude when the chips are down. This is not the first time they have bottled it.

    If McGhee stays, then now that the top 6 is over and we are safe from relegation, I believe its now time for him to re-build and bring in some new blood. Of the current lot, I believe the only ones he brought are Hughes, O'Brien and Klimpl. The rest he inherited and lets be brutally frank a lot of them are rank.

    Keep

    McLean

    Reynolds (not a centre back in a million years but move into left back)

    Hughes (if he'll stay)

    Klimpl (if he'll stay)

    Sutton

    Clarkson

    Murphy

    Lasley

    Move Out

    G. Smith (wants to play at a higher level – I'd recommend Mexico it's nearly 7,500 feet above sea level)

    P. Quinn (one of the worst defenders ever seen at FP. Still making same errors as when he came into the first team)

    S. Hammell (full backs need to be able to defend first and foremost and he can't)

    S. Craigan (simply too old and slow now)

    O'Brien (sand dancer and now back to what he was when he first came)

    Fitzpatrick (has had a long time to establish himself as first team regular and failed)

    D Smith (not good enough for SPL)

    McGarry (still don't why he was originally signed)

    I don't give a monkey's chuff if this gets on anybody's tits because facts need to be faced. IMO McGhee first needs to build a defence that is hard to break down and score against and not be fragile like the present lot, and then take it on from there. This needs to be a top priority for him now. He needs to show that he can manage now.

    So who do you suggest we bring in then to replace these players?

  10. It's pretty laughable! One very average season and all of a sudden the manager should resign. Just remember what position we were in two seasons back?? For a club of our stature we shouldn't be expecting any higher than mid-table anyway. The club and manager are being heavily critised cause of there own success.
