I dont know if there's a special car park for this game, if so it'll be a first, but then for Locos this whole experience is a first. Usually parking's just along Harlaw road and the side streets, but then usually we have 500 not 2500 fans. Not sure if the polis will be preventing parking on Harlaw road for this game. We dont normally have segregation for HFL games, and the gate you boys will be going into at the bottom of the ground only gets used for cup ties v league opposition.

 

Any postponement or replay is scheduled for Tuesday 20th Jan.

We play dundee united on the sunday so if the game had to be re-scheduled due to postponement or a replay then it might be a problem. No sure if Motherwell would allow 1 day between both games.

 

Looking forward to it all the same. Hope the pitch is playable come saturday.

Going to be driving up on saturday. Is there a car park for visiting supporters considering the amount of away support that will normally attend a highland league gameand if not will parking become a problem?

Its a difficult one as £22 is unacceptable in anybody's book.

 

However the clubs in Scotland have chosen to take TV money and plough it into wages / day to day running of the club. However here we also need the gate money on top of that to survive at most clubs.

 

Nancy, remember used TV money to more or less pay for transfers, wages and running of the club - meaning that the gate money is not as important - hence the 5 euro admission price.

 

 

we dont have the big tele deals up here so clubs have to make as much as they can at the gates.something will have to be done cause attendances are dropping all over the country £22 to watch a spl game is a joke.my pal was in italy a few weeks ago and he got into the juventus v inter milan game for £9 says it all really

 

Surelly supporters can now do something about before it gets worse. I'm sure celtic made a protest at kilmarnock a few weeks ago about ticket prices. Would something along the same lines help? Not only for our good but for the history of the club?

 

 

 

Incase it's taken in the wrong way i don't mean a violent protest or a protest at all but something that the clubs even the media can see that supporters around scotland are being priced away from football.

Clubs around the country have to take actions against soring ticket prices. Just watched it on t.v and it really is embarrassing for a local derby. Not blaming supporters though think clubs have a big responsibility to do with it and the economic issues around the world just now. Do clubs not get embarrassed? Especially when they look at attendances 3000 on monday 2500 today. Is it not going to get to the stage where it will make a mochary of scottish football? Or has it already? As i say again NOT blaming the supporters of any club around scotland from the top divisions to lower league football.

Just had a look at the attendance for todays game 2,527 SHOCKING from both sets of supporter considering that the distance between both clubs is less than 5 miles? The first game at New Douglas Park for 20 odd years? Terrible advertisement for scottish football!!

Yet again DYER no excuses anymore! Not seen an improvement for a long time now with or without or supposedly top players. What really disgusted me the most today was the reaction of the players at the final whistle ONE PLAYER who was chrissy porter who applauded the fans. Not looking for a big round of applause but a bit of manners would be appreciated. At the end of the day we're the one's that pay the money every week.

Despite the piss poor form I will be there on Sat. You know i will let you into a secret - I thought I better go to New Douglas Park on account that they would be relegated and we would be top 6 and that would be my chance to go to their ground gone for a wee while. Of course that was a couple of months ago

 

Imagine taking the rise out of Hamilton fans for only bringing 600 fans to Fir Park for the 1st league game in over 20 years. Yet if we do the same........major embarrassment

 

I live in Edinburgh and the temptation to stay at home or watch in the pub was strong. But the boys need our support. If you cannot afford it then fine. If not get your butts along. Still expect a decent turn out from Well fans. Show them what we are made of.

 

Imagine the well players coming on to the pitch and looking up at plenty empty seats OR a full away stand with our support in full voice. What do you think will spur them on more.............We ALWAYS make a noise at away games - this one for sure should be NO different
