  1. Someone's just posted the results of the vote on pie and bov. The vote went in favour of fans considering voting in support of the society losing it's majority share. Email been sent to members.
  2. Absolutely this. Him and Slattery were getting slated all over social media... (Don't know about here as I wasn't posting or reading)Maybe deservedly so. Glad to see him doing well. Think the entire team just lost confidence
  3. I'm not misty eyed. I'd just like him to stay
  4. See to be honest with you - if he gets a move, he'll have earned it. But we've been in this situation before many times before and the club always carries on, no option. Having said that - I hope he stays and I hope we offer Slattery new terms too. I think Spittal has always been decent but the entire teams form dipped after we lost to Celtic at the end of September - when I was coming home from a Muse gig in Manchester and the coach was already four hours delayed - brilliant. They got the winner just as I eventually got on the bus. Great day that As I've said so many times before this season at least my brothers pal who takes my season when I can't go hasn't had to watch us get beat - I think they've seen us win once in any game I've not been able to make.
  5. Not really given how tight the league is.
  6. The seethe on twitter tends to start as soon as the team is announced.
  7. I've said this elsewhere. Someone posted on Facebook that this was covered at the AGM and it does seem to be bad luck. Apparently Slattery caught his studs in the grass. And I'm speaking as someone who isn't a footballer obviously but I had a grade two calf tear five years ago at a bootcamp. I was asked to do a certain exercise. We all were. I tore my calf. No one else did. I ended up on crutches for three months Injuries can be random. It doesn't always have to be about nutrition or training methods.
  8. According to someone on Facebook this was covered at the AGM and it does seem to be bad luck. Apparently Slattery caught his studs in the turf and that's what caused his injury. I completely agree with you but I do think it has just been bad luck.
  9. I didn't actually know that. I just paid the fiver as it was all I could afford and they must have added the low income option after I joined. That's fair enough though. I can afford the fiver and I'll get my mum signed up tomorrow.
  10. I'd personally go for A this season but preferably higher.
  11. I've been a well society member since 2018 and Ive been paying a fiver a month ever since because that's all I could afford. That option was on offer to me then. I think my mum is going to join as well. She was going to after the video. They do have a 3 quid a month option for people on low incomes which is also good.
  12. I completely agree with you. I don't think we have enough well society members to sustain this model. I want to see outside investment
  13. I dont pay at the gate these days but is a game the same price no matter who we play if someone was paying cash all season round ? From recollection it maybe used to fluctuate a bit. Apparently according to some Motherwell fans on twitter there were Celtic fans in our end. Nothing new but surely that needs to be stopped. I know it's hard to stop in practice. Particularly as we have empty seats in our stands and people can buy online
  14. Probably we aren't allowed to. Pretty sure other fans have damaged the seats in the south stand also. Maybe Hibs fans from recollection. I could be wrong but I don't think it's just rangers and Celtic fans who have damaged the seats in that stand.
  15. Am pretty sure our club do charge Celtic or any other club that damages seats for the cost... Not saying it's acceptable. Banning them would lose us income. We aren't going to do that. Personally I would ban them but we can't afford to.
  16. We've clearly lost confidence. But somehow we need to get it back for Wednesday. I think we miss Slattery too.
  17. I wouldn't want him back. He took Motherwell as far as he could
  18. If that's the case why did Spittal score and Bair have the ball in the net?
  19. 😂😂😂. You said it better than I would have.
  20. That was the point I was trying to make. I'm not trying to suggest for one minute that fans aren't allowed opinions.
  21. I made more than one point across several posts. I wasn't intending it to mean that I would rather have Alexander as manager right now than Kettlewell. When I said that we have been on a downward trajectory since he left I did make the point about having to pay off the remaining amount of time on his contract. I've been very vocally supportive of Kettlewell. Not just on here.

    Club AGM

I thought Andrew Wilson resigned a while ago.
  23. I've been a member for several years now. I pay the minimum contribution just now because I haven't been able to up it. Part of the issue surely is that the Society only have 3800 members. Which isn't bad given our fan base but we need more members or people like me to up their contributions. Which I will do as soon as I can.
  24. Just making the point that I think the club has been struggling since we got rid of Alexander. I'm very much behind Kettlewell.
