I’m not so sure Eddie, the fact that he is training with them shows that Celtic are at least interested. If they weren’t keen, he would have probably been training with us to get match fit and not Celtic.

Cheers Well Made, due to there being no direct quotes from the SFA in the article it certainly looked very suspect. It’s about time that these online rags where forced to remove these made up stories.

You have to wonder if this would be legal? Until he is found guilty in a court of law, surely we can play him if we want, no matter what the SFA say. Maybe someone on here with a legal background can enlighten us.

I would be interested to see a link to this. It’s possible that Motherwell may choose to not play Jennings until this has all been resolved, as off and on the field problems can sometimes effect a players performance, although it doesn’t appear to have effected Gary O’Connor!

He can influence the game but can't force Jennings to swear at him. Unless of course Jennings and the ref are both in on it. Or he is lying, or just misheard what Jennings said.

If true, that would be a red or at the very least a yellow card offence. So in theory a red card straight or not was inevitable, as he was already on a yellow.

Has it been revealed exactly what Jenning’s said to the referee? If not, will the referee’s match report on the incident ever be made available?

You would have to assume that he knows him or one of the other seven quite well. I would like to think that they haven't just arrested him just because he is scouse!
