Yes it’s a bespoke copy of their first 1962 Sky Blue kit. They even copied the slightly odd looking socks! It’s made by Puma and supplied by Puma’s UK agents Genesis Sports who also handle all our kit supplies.

Similar to our anniversary shirt that was a special one off design produced just for Coventry. Our new home and away will certainly follow Puma templates. For the home it really just depends on which style will look better with the main bespoke part of our kit (the claret hoop/band). The away I would imagine will be an exact Puma template copy with small sections highlighted in claret and amber. We are too small a club to dictate how our designs will look and will always need to follow some sort of brand template. The only way around this would be to go down the Kilmarnock route, by designing and producing your own kits. With this system you can have what ever you want, you just need to find someone to make it. It's really depends whether you think brand recognition matters, if it does you need to follow the basic Puma, Nike, Adidas, Umbro or any other big kit manufacturers template.

Is this official?

With a few of next seasons kits being announced at the moment, hopefully it won’t be too long until we see which Puma templates we have chosen for next season. I get the impression that the new sponsorship deal has held things up slightly. The one positive note is that the new Puma templates are looking not too bad. With the addition of a claret hoop it should make them even better!

It made interesting listening, you wonder if he would have signed an extension if we had offered one pre Christmas. I just hope we can find another 17 goals a season replacement!

You learn something new every day. Assuming you are correct Al (and I have no reason to doubt you) I always thought that ball to hand was at least a yellow card.

Spot on. The cheeky beggar thought Sutton was through on goal, otherwise why did he handle it?. Definite yellow card.

No penalty for me. Having watched the game back I reckon it would have been very soft.

The big Swede’s style of leap reminded me of this famous hand ball.

The ref made some crazy decisions against both sides yesterday. Both the deliberate handballs should have been at least yellow cards. To fair to him and his and linesman their line of sight was blocked for the Craigan incident but the first one was just crazy. Some of the tackles could or should have been straight reds. Overall I would probably give the officials 5 out of 10 for their performance, in a Scottish Cup Final that is just not good enough.

I was there for the semi and had a similar experience. You should have been in the West Stand as the atmosphere was pretty good for the majority of the match. I do agree though that the CIS semi against Hearts was for me the best atmosphere at a Well game in recent years.

I actually thought the atmosphere was pretty good considering the performance and result . Strange how some people see things differently.

Gutted about todays result but to be honest we looked like rabbits caught in the headlights for about the first 20 minutes. In saying that, If the shot off the bar had gone in it could have been a different story. A goal then would have at least asked Celtic a few questions. All in we were posted missing for a good 80 of the 90 minutes against a Celtic side that looked at times pretty average. Plus point was the card display at the start, It looked brilliant!
