GOAL get in there.
-
Currently they are enjoying 70% possession. We are currently second to every ball. Our midfield is getting totally dominated. Fingers crossed it gets better.
-
Now reading Lamie might want to stay. If he hadn't scored that goal and we dropped bottom six would he still be thinking of staying???
-
Who the fuck are you. An arsehole thats who. Fuck off you tit.
-
Happy clappy club back. Changes fuck all or the valid points that have been made.
-
Bottom 6. If you think the players have downed tools wait till you see it now. Probably heading for a 10th place finish. Watch the crowds plummet. As I said they couldn't pay me enough to watch it. Any one for season ticket next season??? Money tight for a lot of people. Let me tell me once you stop going you never go back.
-
The protests started long before today's result. Cardboard cut out manager who spouts the same crap in every interview after the game. Burrows and company don't escape criticism for this debacle either. Club run by amateurs.
-
Ross County and Livingston make top 6. Tells you all you need to know about how pish our league really is.
-
Slattery goal changes feck all. I didn't even know he was on the park until he scored.
-
Glad people are seeing the light. I have been watching Motherwell for more years that I can remember and this is the worst team and manager ever. Sure we have had other bad teams and managers but at least they tried to play football. This lot deserve to be relegated.
-
That gets my vote. Graham, don't let the door hit you on the a*se on the way out.
-
Last week against St Mirren was a fluke. Lucky scrappy goals. To be honest we don't deserve top 6. Blame the pitch all you like. They train on plastic pitches. We simply can't play football. Clear out needed, starting with Alexander. His brand on non football is going to drive supporters away. They couldn't pay me to watch that sh*the.
-
This is simple. St Mirren win Last 10 matches St Mirren 14 points minus 2 goal difference. Last 10 matches Motherwell 5 points minus 10 goal difference.
-
You maybe right but one signing from a team currently sitting second bottom in the championship does not make your case that there is barely a footballer in those leagues. It just means Alexander is incompetent in assessing players. If things go tits up you may well see with your own eyes whether there are footballers in a lower league.

I said on another post regardless of whether the salaries are correct or not, only Kelly and maybe Van Veen are worth it. Kelly for winning us points with his saves and Van Veen with his goals. The rest could take a long walk of a short plank as far as I am concerned with GA leading them. O'Hara is keen to play for Robinson again. With Alexander's tactics he might as well sell every midfield player we have. Alexander since the turn of the year is the worst performing manager and we are the worst performing team. Only 5pts won. Dundee have won 7pts in that period. We are no better a team than them. Last 2 games against the bottom two teams we managed 1pt. Yet it appears Alexander is under no pressure. Even if we did get relegated he will still be there unless he decides to leave. Why, because the club decided to give him a 3 year contract. The person who agreed to that should be getting asked questions as to why they didn't wait until the end of this season to review Alexander's performance and then negotiate with him or show him the door.
-
That's exactly what he said. As I said in a previous post, he just says the same rubbish in every interview after the game. He really is clueless. He is just another in a long list of failed managers who never looks at the lower Scottish divisions but is happy to sign crap players from crap English clubs.
-
He has been sacked from all his last managerial posts and we are stuck with him until 2025.
-
He should be sacked on the spot, but unfortunately some idiot gave him a contract up to 2025. It's him that should be getting sacked. We don't have the cash to pay him off.
-
Win our next match. Are you on drugs.
-
That should be Alexander finished. I can only pray.
-
Another brutal performance. Can't even string 3 passes together. The only highlight is a VV speculative shot that the goalie should have done better with. Still if you don't shoot you don't score. Can someone tell me what our game plan is apart from hoof the ball.

I haven't posted on here for a very long time. I was regular season ticket holder and used to go to FP every week with four mates. We all stopped going about 3 years ago. Watching Alexanders boot it up the park tactics and before him Robinson's cave man football, I have no intention of returning and paying the over inflated prices to be bored out of my skull for 90 minutes. If anyone thinks what is being served up at FP and in the Premier League in general, even allowing for the abysmal standard of player, is really football then put forward your argument. We can't even attract 4000 supporters on a good day. That says it all. Graham Alexander is another manager we have employed who trawls the depths of despair e.g. the English lower leagues for players whose careers have consisted of being put out on loan season after season. He then signs them . Oh and the next time Alexander changes his expression let me know. I swear it is a cardboard cutout standing at the touchline. No animation, no emotion, no passion, no encouragement. His after match comments beggar belief. It is like a repeat TV programme. He needs to be told that the rules DO allow him to pick the same 11 players in the same positions more than once rather than putting the players names in a hat. As for the current squad of players. We have one guy who could play at a higher level and that is Kelly the goalkeeper. He is paid approx £4000 a week and earns it. As for the rest of the players. Parcel them up in a box and put them on a shelf at BM Bargains and see if anyone bites. That's the only way you might get money for them.

Scottish Premiership Motherwell V Ross County Sat 6 May 15:00
ppower replied to Yabba's Turd's topic in Club Chat
My obsevations. Poorest Motherwell team in years, yes I know that is stating the obvious. Most of the players trying their best but apart from 3 or 4 players the rest are not only not Premier League players but should not even be professional players. We started todays game with the following in central midfield, a 36 year old who played ok but his legs are gone and an 18 year old learning the game. There in a nutshell is the problem, we have no effective midfield. Every time a defender looks up every one is running away from them, and we resort to long punts up the park. It is not difficult to see why we are second bottom of the league. Players to keep McHugh, Moult (although having scored 17 goals in this team, I am sure he will be off at the end of the season) and Cadden. Cadden has lots to learn and needs better coaching than I think he is getting. He also needs to be more aware of what is going on around him, He has an engine and can get up and down the park. We have 3 players who are good enough to play in the Premier League. Players like Scott Mcdonald, Keith Lasley, Stevie Hammell and Stephen McManus, have played successfully in the Premier League but I did not mention them for the future as they are all coming to the end of their careers. Robinson the manager, whether he is the right choice or not I don't know. Personally, I thought we should have appointed somone with a more in depth knowledge of Scottish football. Dundee appopinted Neil McCann, who knows the game inside out and has won his first two games- both away from home. You can argue they have better players than us, and I would certainly not disagree, but he has them set up with 2 up front and 2 banks of four. We on the other hand are all over the place, and that is down to poor coaching. 3 games left. All three teams (Accies, Kille and ICT) will score against us and they know that. So we need at least 2 goals to win. Unfortunately we average 1.1 goals a game. So statistically the best we can hope for is 3 draws. In 27 games out of 35 we have either not scored or scored only once. So at best we have one goal in us. We have only kept a clean sheet in 3 league games this season. Draw your own conclussions from those stats. The only positive note is that we have taken more points away from home than at home, so maybe with 2 out of the 3 games away, the team may surprise us. Here is hoping they do, because if they go down it will be along road back to the top flight - just ask St Mirren, Hibs, Falkirk, Dunfermline and Dundee Utd how ard it is down there. -
Newcastle United Jets After unsuccessful trials at both Blackpool and Everton, Jeffers agreed to trial with Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets. On 29 October 2010, he signed a 10-match guest contract with the club.[17] He made his debut for the club on 13 November 2010, helping Newcastle to a 3–1 victory over Adelaide United. Jeffers delivered the killer blow, setting up striker Marko Ješić for Newcastle's third goal of the match with a curling, defence-splitting through ball in the 52nd minute. He scored his first goal on 8 December 2010 against the Melbourne Heart. He then provided an assist as he played a fantastic through ball to Marko Ješić for Newcastle's second. Although Newcastle and Jeffers were both keen on extending his contract, they failed to come to an agreement and Jeffers left the club after making a positive impact. make of that what you will

I quote. "Black's managerial record at Airdrie United was sadly not to be as successful as his time as a player. Despite signing some reasonable players, and guiding the team to an MG Alba Challenge Cup Final win against Ross County in 2008, he will be remembered for an uninspiring league record that saw the club lose four 1st/ 2nd Division play off games over the course of his tenure." Throw in a manger who so far has also been less than successful and you can see why questions are being asked. Somehow I don't think these two guys, with their previous track records, are suddenly going to become successful or become inspirational leaders. As they say leopards can't change their spots no matter how much they try or want to. If these two guys don't conjure up a win against Hibs tomorrow then my worst fears may just be about to become true.
