I don't expect us to beat Rangers or Celtic but I certainly expect us not to continually be embarrassed by them. Dundee managed to go to Ibrox in the cup and lose by the odd goal. Ok Rangers rested players but still fielded Tavernier, King, Lundstrom, Davis, Tillman, Morelos.

The majority of the squad have simply reverted back to what they were under Alexander. There was a small boost when Hammell came in. Too many of the squad just are not good enough and no matter how much coaching they get the ability isn't there. Last 5 league matches we have taken 3pts. That is a worse return over the past 5 games than any other team in the league. We now face Aberdeen (h). Dundee Utd (a) Hearts (a) and Celtic (h) Tough fixtures. I have watched every one of Hammells post match interviews and he is totally out of his depth. A team sinking fast and he neither has the experience nor ability to halt it. All he ever says about the game in his interviews is that it was disappointing and we lost poor goals and at the wrong time, like there a right time to lose a goal. Rookie manager with rookie back room staff. Early days in his management career but alarm bells are ringing loudly.

Never bring old players back. Moult played 10 games last season and now injury prone. He has an on going knee issue that has plagued him for the last 4 years. His last spell on the sidelines lasted 18months. He has no chance of playing tomorrow.

Aye and Slattery was rated at Southampton and God knows why. No better than Grimshaw. He is nearly 24 and only played 46 games and 31 are for us. Also Moult and Aldred were playing regularly and were at least match fit and not prone to injury. Like McInstry people are saying why is he not playing. It's obvious he is not fit enough. Hasn't even made the bench. If I am wrong with that then no doubt someone will correct me. First thing any club does with a new signing is test their fitness to actually play. Play an unfit player and he will get injured.

Did anyone really expect this defence to not throw away goals. Did it all last season and no different this season. Also apart from the Aberdeen game we normally only manage to score 1 goal per game. We know how that ends. And as I continually mentioned in previous posts KVV scores again and nobody else does.

Look his goals kept us out of a dog fight. If you don't accept that then you are blind. We have players who never fucking show up.

What he said merely stated how any competent professional club would be set up. It's just the basics, nothing earth shattering or new. If it wasn't for his goals after Watt left we would have finished bottom six at best. Combined with his goals and Kelly's saves meant we didn't finish in the bottom two. Check the stats instead of spouting crap.

Can someone tell me what a "fully integrated club" is. If Burrows reads these posts please enlighten is what this entails. I won't hold my breath for anyone expanding on this brain numbing statement.

Hammell ticks all the boxes that's a bold statement to make. Tell me the boxes. Do you honestly think introducing youngsters into the current shit storm is wise. If you do, you are deluded. If any of the youngsters were good enough I would have thought Hammell would have reported this to the previous regime. If he wasn't forceful or confident enough to do this doesn't bode well for his future as a manager.

Let me pin my colours to the mast right now. In my opinion Hammell is the wrong appointment. No managerial experience. Only managed young boys. No pressure with his current role. No experience of what to do when a team is in free fall and how to sort it. I could go on. So we had 70 applicants and seemingly whittled this down to 3 or 4 for interview. With that amount I could possibly see getting it down to 10 and then having two rounds of interviews but to only interview 4 guys. Shockingly incompetent. They just went through the motions and appointed the cheap option. As I said earlier I didn't trust this hapless board of jokers to make the right decision and guess what they didn't disappoint. Make no mistake this team is destined for a relegation battle. Does anyone seriously think this squad, regardless of tactics, is going to suddenly turn into football players. I said earlier we have two players earning their wages. Kelly and Van Veen. The rest will not do. This woeful squad is not Hammells fault, but being realistic he is going to have to see the season out with the majority of them. New faces in means wages being freed up by people leaving. Who is going to offer money for any of the crap in this current squad. Hammell has to take points during August and early September because the games in late September into October are Hearts, Celtic, Hibs, Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd.
